I hope I've put this in the correct section, if not, could a Mod move it for me please?

So, if you could create a Sequel to a favourite game of yours, or re-do a sequel that has already been done, would you?

And if so, how would you go about it?

Sorry if this has already been done. I did a vague search and it yielded no similar results (yes I know right now there is a thread on "would you create a sequel", it inspired this one).

I would do a Sequel to inFamous.

After completing the last level in the game, Cole wanders through Empire City back to his sleepy place, when the now re-moralised Cops are in pursuit of some baddies. Being a super hero/villain, Cole feels he deserve a rest/doesn't give a shit, so keeps walking through the middle of the fire-fight, not noticing any of the bullets.
At this point, a rarity in Empire City occurs; it rains. Lighting starts bouncing off of Cole as the rain hits him.
An arc of Lighting flies off and hits one of the many guns in the area, causing it to explode and propelling a bullet fast enough to actually damage Cole. Surprised from the pain, Cole falls to the ground, wound exposed to the skies. At this point, a drop of rain lands inside Cole's wound and causes a massive electric explosion, close to that of the first game's intro (but not as deadly; only a block radius).
The explosion inside Cole causes him to rip in half, but because of the large amount of Electricity, Cole re-heals into two separate Cole's.
The massive amount of Electricity causes all of Cole's abilities to become inactive, but
activates the same time-travelling power Kessler has
and sends one of the Cole's into the future.
The Cole that arrives in the future arrives just after
Kessler left
and passes out.
While Cole is passed out, he has a hallucination/coma dream where the player decides whether or not this Cole will be Good or Evil for the tutorial which explains game controls, some of the powers you've lost and alludes to some of the powers you may gain in the future.
As Cole wakes up, the player decides whether or not Cole was previously Good or Evil by doing a small mission, and this shapes the story for the rest of the game; Cole still gets to be Good or Evil, but is either in a world where Good Cole exists, or Bad Cole exists.
Then, through game choices but mainly the first choice of "Good or Evil", Cole now has to either save or aid the city, defeat or aid "Future Cole" and decide whether or not to replace "Future Cole"...

Or something along those lines...

What do you think? (and sorry about the large amount of text).

Haegemonia, thge original left a very open end, finding a floating alien space hulk, how can you not do a sequel to that!?!?!?!?

Dynasty Tactics 3, I just want to see it in current gen graphics and with maybe one or two more playable kingdoms, and the extra story that goes with them. Oh and Lu Bu to have Raid III.

That is all.

Scrap Metal Gear Solid 4, write a new story that actually makes some damn sense, and set it before Snake starts looking way too old to get away with wearing spandex.

Or remake Devil May Cry 4, where Nero doesn't exist, and you played as Dante all the way through again. He got the badass weapons after all.

Black 2 would be great as well. That games shortcoming was it's ambition. It was good, but would be even better on PS3/360.

Sooooo many games and so little time to type out everything that needs done. Think I'll start with the obvious... Halo 3 would be remade so it never exsisted and Halo 2 would be remade to be more like the first 1 and have a proper fucking ending. Now that's out of the way onto some real games.

Assassin's Creed... oh wait that's coming and looks awesome.

Modern Warfare... oh same again.

Ummm... Crackdown... doh!.

I think most games that deserve a sequel have 1 or will have 1. And most games have sequels and don't deserve them.

One can pray that the eventual release of KOTOR III will have as much time and effort put into it as possible.

I would remake S.T.A.L.K.E.R. I'd remove the bugs, improve the weird glitches, put more ruined underground locations based on actual soviet bunkers, put weirder, scarier monsters in there, make it more open world and alter the difficulty curve slightly, so that you don't get buttraped until you've gotten the hang of the game.

I would create Haze 2, and make it more open world, where you could choose between being a drug-addled mercenary or a rebel. Both sides would have good qualities and bad qualities, and there would be a notable difference for each side. Mercenary would be more run and gun, while you take less damage, and rebel would be a lot more sneakiness, and you and your rebel allies wouldn't be INVINCIBLE SUPER SOLDIERS like in Haze. On top of that, I would allow you to buy weaponry, the story would be longer, the graphics would be improved, and there would be a lot of side quests, which would be different for each side.

Jade Empire 2, that uses your Jade empire 1 saves to give you bonus and different story routes based on the separate endings. Tweak the combat system to make it even better and give you some new partners and the ability to form at least a three person party.

A sequel to Godhand.

The beauty of it is the plot is really flexible, given how bat-shit insane the last game was.

The game can be as wild and nonsensical as you like (in fact, its encouraged).

Gene is assailed by rocket pack wearing chimpanzees, who are being led by Lord Monocle (a stereotypical 19th century British Boxer with a ludicrous handlebar mustache)who we find out is trying to steal Gene's arm in order to gain the favor of El Sombrero Diabolico, a gangster from Hell who promises to grant the wish of anyone who brings him the prized God Hand.

As if that wasn't enough, several other demented warlords want the arm as well, including MC Saucer Pants (a breakdancing alien equipped with a standing army of 80's cliches), Princess Prince (a transgender sorcerer/ress who lives in a twisted fairy tale kingdom of pigs, bears, and red hooded thugs), and Bronco the Unbelievably Huge (a villain so big, that his section of the game actually takes place on and inside his massive body).

Go back to before Insomniac sold the rights to Spyro, force them not to sell it, and let the series die with some dignity.
