If you could appear yourself in any video game what would it be?

Would you take the place of Mario?
Be a zombie killer in L4D?
Take on the nazi zombies in WAW?

I'd want to appear in GTA , real life just with a sprinkle of awesomesauce.
EDIT: or Red Dead Redemption, I swing both ways.

First thing that comes to mind would be Mass Effect 1. Wouldn't mind being in that game universe, especially if I was destined to save the universe and make it with alien babes and get some polygonal booty. Mmm... polygons.

Halo. Reason? I have some degree of stealth, shooting and athletic expertise, so I'd probably make a half-decent soldier. Meaning I could hold my own in a fight, and I would honestly love to see what playing the game would be like in that way (seriously, I'm counting down the days until we have full on Matrix-style virtual reality). Besides, it would be awesome to fight alongside the Master Chief and the Arbiter...

Pokemon. It has a considerably lower mortality rate than most of the games other people are suggesting. As an added bonus, it also has pokemon. Me and my Lucario, going up against the pokemon league... (Naturally, I'd take a full squad. Or maybe be one of those trainers on Victory Road who just waits for random people to walk past before assaulting them.)
Also, have you ever noticed that the only careers in the pokemon universe are poke-mart vendor, poke-center operator, gym-leader and elite four member (and a couple of random scientists) - apparently the ridiculous unemployment rate isn't a problem there!
