Step 1: Locate Wikipedia (or the 2112 equivalent thereof)
Step 2: Search "21st century"
Step 3: "Save page as . . ."
Step 4: Read as much of the page as I can in the time I've got
And if I'm feeling like burning some time . . .
Step 5: Check future Newegg (or the 2112 equivalent thereof) to see how crazy computer hardware's gotten
I would then open the Wikipedia article in a browser if I can, and if I can't, then I'll try to open it in Notepad and edit out the formatting. I will then never, ever tell anyone what I have learned or act on what I have learned. I will instead smugly sit back and watch the future unfold.
Unless, of course, the future is total shit. Like, post-apocalyptia levels of shit. Then I'll probably still keep it to myself, but do everything within my power to change it. Admittedly, I probably won't be able to actually do much, but at least I can watch the world go to shit knowing I tried to stop it.
Although, knowing my luck, I'd get my 2112 internet the same day that future 4chan (or the 2112 equivalent thereof) decides to raid as many historical Wikipedia articles as they can.
Either that or I'd be forced to browse the 2112 internet with 2012 speeds, preventing me from so much as opening Google (or the 2112 equivalent thereof) before my time runs out.
