Even dying in most fictional worlds is pretty awesome. None of this anticlimactic shit like in real life. You always have some epic backstory and somehow have connections to some seedy element and go out in a blaze of fury. Also, theres some stupid tenancy in fiction to get laid by the hottest girl in the story before you die. No one ever realizes that there can only be a few stalwart heroes of the land. Besides, most of you would be the first people to die in the event of whatever apocalyptic event was coming. Either that or the NPC that gets shot down or run over because he won't get out of the fucking way, or the stalwart hero decides to be a dick.olehund said:Now see, you all assume you would be one of the heroes and not the NPC's![]()
That said, if I could be in any video game world and I was guaranteed a fairly decent amount of power and intelligence, I'm going to say that I keep leaning toward the Elder Scrolls.
Or, and it counts because there were games made that take place there, Amestris. I would love to be able to clap my hands and change anything to anything else. And I'd give up my right arm and left leg to do it, provided I get some automail pretty soon. From Fullmetal Alchemist, by the way.
Yea I perfectly understand your not that impressive concept. It's called deconstruction and although some people think it's interesting, its biggest flaw is people who are fans of deconstruction go too far and are just as unrealistic as that which they are deconstructing. You honestly believe it wouldn't be interesting to live in the Psychonauts universe?! The least interesting characters in psychonauts is still cooler than anyone I've ever met.believer258 said:You're not guaranteed to be the stalwart hero of the land, or even anyone great In fact, you're probably going to be some regular ol' joe, just like you are here. You would probably be leading a simiar boring life if you were somehow just transported to a different world.NightlyNews said:Even dying in most fictional worlds is pretty awesome.
