I guess that's fairWalter44 said:Yeah, you're right. But on the other hand, your thread only addresses bronies, therefore it can't be blamed for forcing the show onto others.PortalFTW said:Actually I think I was. The others were either by haters or paople who wanted to know what the fuss is about. This is just a reaction.Grabbin Keelz said:Jesus, I made a thread about space hoping to get this off people's minds. Really, this is just getting obnoxious now. I've watched one or two episodes of it and I don't want to watch any more. If any of you like it thats fine, I respect your tastes. Just stop posting these threads please.
So, I rephrase: This is the SECOND pony-thread mad by an actual brony. Still not enough to call it obnoxious, IMHO.
I only said it once. eyebrowraise.gif. Try actually reading it instead of just skimming.Yokai said:The number of times you say something along the lines of "I don't know why this happens, it just does" or "through some inexplicable turn of events" in the OP kind of makes me think that it is a lizardman mind-control conspiracy. I'll pass, thanks.

This whole thing about constantly worshipping the ponies and rubbing it in our faces how much you worship the ponies is getting old fast. This is especially a problem when an unrelated pony thread ends up having a huge, disruptive, unspoilered pony image as a response. I don't know if you're trying to convince everyone you're proud or what, but if you want to do that, just don't deny that you watch the show. This act isn't convincing people to respect you for watching it. It only makes you into "those annoying kids who won't shut up about the ponies."
I have done a number of things out of sheer lulz, such as wear pink and purple nail varnish. So it's not like I am insecure about my sexuality but just 'cos you stare at a show and like it doesn't make you a secure person.Chase Yojimbo said:EDIT: Also another fact: Psychologically this show acts as a 'Confidence Booster'. People who feel secure enough to watch the show and feel secure enough to tell people they watch it obviously have the balls to move through society, and also proves that in a sense they have an open mind. And in my opinion, Open-Minds are good, m'kay.
Don't bother posting if you didn't read the first post. And don't bother quoting people who didn't read it either.omega 616 said:Go help yourself to all the internets and cookies you can carry.Soylent Bacon said:C) I don't care what you watch, or what you make your avatar, but for the love of God, will you "bronies" cut it out with the stupid meme? I don't care what people watch, have as there avatar or worship (I will talk about it with them) but I do not want it thrust in my face like a cream pie.
There like ADHD suffereing kids on speed "heyareyouabronie?I'mabronie, whyaren'tyouabronie?watchanepisode go on watchonewatchonewatchone!"
hey are you a bronie? I'm a bronie, why aren't you a bronie?watch an episode go on watch one watch one watch one!
Just shut up about it, buzzing round me like a fly isn't going to make me like it. I watched an episode and thought it was total crap and almost gave me diabetes.
Would any of you bronies like it if I sent you a 30 odd messages about how to solve a megaminx and how you should get into solving them 'cos there wicked awesome? No, you'd call me a muppet and ignore me.
I did read it, well up to the bit were you started telling me how to be one ... 'cos why would I want to be a part of something I hate?Silk_Sk said:Don't bother posting if you didn't read the first post. Is this the part where I chime in and mention that you're actively posting in a thread you don't seem to want to be in?omega 616 said:Just shush about it and enjoy it, so hopefully it will stop poping up on the net except if I actively look for it.

Your still just advertising this childs cartoon as greatness, which is your call but stop advertising it! Unless you want me to start messaging you on how to solve a megaminx step by step.
Ahh yes. The person that hates MLP but insists on posting in threads anyways. Didn't know what MLP stood for, clicked it, thought I would give the thread a chance rather than just dismiss it, read the OP and since I had a few minutes during the advert break, I would read a few posts, found one that I agreed with and posted.Loop Stricken said:Is this the part where I chime in and mention that you're actively posting in a thread you don't seem to want to be in?omega 616 said:Just shush about it and enjoy it, so hopefully it will stop poping up on the net except if I actively look for it.
I guess the line, "Now I will go through a step-by-step explanation of how one becomes a true Brony" threw me off.Silk_Sk said:*facepalm* Again, read it, then post.omega 616 said:I did read it, well up to the bit were you started telling me how to be one ... It wasn't a how-to-be-a-brony guide any more than a chart of the growth stages of a plant tells you how to become a tree. And it wasn't an advertisement either. I am NOT trying to convert you. I'm just trying to explain this whole thing to keep people from making all these "wtf ponies" threads.
I don't quite understand what you're saying here, but if I work my way through the typos and missing words, I think what you're trying to say is that people automatically accept that other people have opinions different from their own and won't start an argument about it so there's no reason to make a thread trying to prevent this from happening? =_=omega 616 said:How about explianing why you like something you just let it be, I am sure people get there head round opinions and why some people like one thing that they don't.
Hm, let's see if I can explain better. I'm not particularly good at explain but here goes. When people first heard about this show, they were expecting a glorified 22 minute commercial, but we got something more. It has good writing, good humor, three dimensional characters, it's not dumbed down and the art style is quite nice too. I really couldn't tell you how this show got as popular as it is now, it could be people just didn't expect it to be any good and that's making it bigger than it really is or it could just be that good. Who knows? We're ok with people not liking the show, we just don't appreciate people who look at it, see ponies and to insult the fanbase for liking it. If you watched it and didn't care for it, we accept that and move on.omega 616 said:Didn't know what MLP stood for, clicked it, thought I would give the thread a chance rather than just dismiss it, read the OP and since I had a few minutes during the advert break, I would read a few posts, found one that I agreed with and posted.Loop Stricken said:Is this the part where I chime in and mention that you're actively posting in a thread you don't seem to want to be in?omega 616 said:Just shush about it and enjoy it, so hopefully it will stop poping up on the net except if I actively look for it.

"a chart of the growth stages of a plant tells you how to become a tree", what?

Some advice though.
If you do start to enjoy yourself and you do have other stuff to do. Finish the other stuff first. Once you hit the addicted phase NOTHING will get done for a long while.
Possibly. Although a lot of us still don't like or use that term.2ndblackjedi said:PortalFTW said:Be ready to join the herdSkyrimOrBust said:No. It won't hurt at all.
