I've been exploring the many nooks and crannies of the internet, and I've noticed that there are alot of things that seem innocuous at first but upon further investigation, i.e. Urban Dictionary, they tend to be somthing along the lines of a dildo-wielding sereal killer.

Example: how the hell did /b/ become such a dirty term?

edit*
apparently, I need to spell out what the thread is about rather than merely imply it.

What I want to know is WHY these horribly perverse inside jokes for sociopaths exist

Ok, OP, I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt. I assume that you mean "Isn't it funny that if you give something a little time to progress, it can become really, really horrible", as is the case with /b/. In that case, simple answer; people are retarded, and want to spread retarded things they find to other retarded people. Joy to the spastics!

If that isn't what you meant, please re-phrase yourself.

That's like asking why chair isn't a dirty word. I mean it's hard wood, all fours on the ground, back arched up, and you just sit in it rocking back and forth.

Go chair yourself.
Heh, that's pretty funny

But can you restate the question please?

And that is funny. I don't know if you made it up just now, but damn, good work.

Exactly. In the right mindset there is virtually nothing that cannot be understood as a sexual innuendo of sorts. I remember when my teacher read "Of Mice and Men" in class a long time ago. I had to leave the room because I was laughing so hard. And honestly - there is nothing funny about that book.

It is now. It's what I thought of when seeing the topic title and I'm disappointed that the thread hasn't turned into the Whose Line game.
