It would be an online multiplayer game about a prison riot. The cops would be split into two teams, cops and SWAT, and the criminals would not appear on the radar but the cops would. The criminals would have to trick the cops into chasing the other criminals so they could escape by placing trackers on them that show up on the cops' radar. The SWAT team would all have to stick together and wouldn't be allowed to enter until the first tag was placed on a criminal by another criminal. The criminals would have to hide in anything possible and hang from ceilings and such to avoid the cops/SWAT and escape. Oh, and 6 man SWAT team vs unarmed criminal = death, so you would have to hide VEEERRRRRYYY well.

i grit to grime no gimmick realistic first person shooter with amazingly realistic weapons. based on mercenaries for customizable options it would be on ps3 because the grphics would be very demanding and you could have thousands of REALISTIC customizations. online multiplayer, and single player story.

It would be... big, so big I couldn't explain it in a forum post. I can say it would APPEAR to be an open world RPG, but there would be much more to it then that. For one thing, if all goes as planned, you can complete the main story without ever engaging in combat, stealth included

But, best case scenario, you'll be able to play it at some point... in like ten years... at best

It's about a group of diabetic kids protecting their towns jam industry from an evil corporation. They collect sugary treats to eat them and fall into comas where they subconsciously combat the evil in what can best be described as a dream world version of candy-land mixed with Avatar. At the same time they need to destroy the corporation in real life. All this will happen well they go through...

It would start out as a farming simulation, much like Harvest Moon. Eventually, you can amass 8 cows, a horse, 12 chickens, 6 sheep, a cat, and a dog. Your farm encompasses several acres, and your children's children help you harvest crops. After investing your time courting your desired partner in your isolated, peaceful village, raising your children, and watching them raise their own, tragedy strikes in the form of bandits.

A cruel group of bandits have razed your farm, stolen your crops, slaughtered your animals, and killed your partner, who died helping your children escape. Your grandkids have been kidnapped, and the bandits plan to sell them into slavery. Being handy with a sickle suddenly comes in handy, as you have to sneak into the bandit camp and slaughter your way through to your grandkids. It is not until you confront the bandit leader that you find out this horrid event is part of an overall plot for the king to take over peasant land and give it to his nobles. (This is the Stealth Combat part of the game, similar to Assassin's Creed.)

Unfortunately, the bandit leader gets away, and you know that he will be back with an even bigger force to finish the job he started. You must now help fortify the village and prepare it for attack. (RTS resource gathering and fortification, Starcraft) At the same time, you must travel to other places and learn combat, tactics, weapons use, etc from other warriors, mercenary bands, and the like. (ie Morrowind)

On the road, you meet others with similar experiences or goals (Baldur's Gate), who are willing to fight with you in a party. You eventually track down the bandit leader, the corrupt nobles, and usurp the king. You then become King, and must run the Kingdom through the ages. (ie Civilization)

That's all I can think of, so far.

Actually, I'm currently making a game (graphics suck because I'm not that great a graphics artist) but it's an NES style platform game, sort of in the style of Megaman, where you play as Kurt Cobain and you have to kill enemies by swinging around your guitar. There are 5 levels, each which have a song assigned to them. You must beat each level before the particular song ends.
The levels are: In Bloom, Penny Royal Tea, Come as You Are, Territorial Pissing, and (I don't really know yet, either Lithium or Heart Shaped Box).

Hope I don't get the probation mallet-type instrument for advertising, I'm just saying what I've done.

Btw, I made it in Game Maker 8, a free game making program, if any of you guys want to try to learn how to make a game, I recommend it.

A world racing game. Not open-world, alternate complete world. Every track since 1900, including demolished and redesigned layouts. Real-time weather, lighting, conditions, damage, degredation, ect.

A horror game where taking reality-altering drugs is a progressive gameplay mechanic. Trapped in an abandoned mental hospital, and the only escape is a window that's two stories up? Drug yourself up and climb up there on the back of a sinewy shadow dragon made of screaming infant faces! Getting attacked by security guards? Pop some pills that make combat easier by slowing their movement--oh, and it turns them into coyote-headed garbage heap robots that breathe fire and weep blood. Drug use would be context sensitive, have multiple possible effects in every situation, and generally make scenarios more complicated so that creativity and experimentation is rewarded.

A first person game where you play as a Roman foot soldier. You start out as a normal grunt but as you survive battles and gain medals for important kills, you have the opportunity to advance to ranks such as centurion where RTS elements would start appearing.
Sequels/ expansions could include The Punic wars, Julius Caesar's conquest of Gaul and the civil war, to the fall of Rome.
Imagine the combat feeling like The Elder Scrolls games, except you fight with your Cohort instead of by yourself.

Sci-fi FPS that is a mix up of Halo and TF2-like weapons, yet features an inventory similar to RE4 or Diablo (I.E. items take up varying amounts of space on a grid system).

The grid based inventory would allow for an amount of freedom in combat style, but not a ridiculous amount that could lead to balancing difficulty (I'm looking at you CoD) and would additionally balance out power weapons by limiting the amount of equipment carried with them. So for example you could take a minigun and a shield upgrade, but you will be slower and will have less additional items, like healing items, to aid you. Since you have such few options a faster more maneuverable player with, for example, a light weapons and speed upgrades could easily out-maneuver you and kill you.

It would have the Halo health system (a regenerating shield over a non-regenerating health bar) allowing tactics beyond shooting first. If you get ambushed by someone with a bigger more powerful weapon, rather than instantaneous death you would have a chance to quickly retreat and then return and flank him.

The TF2 weapon system, which is having basic weapons that each have an upgrade with certain advantages and drawbacks, would allow easier balancing and much more varying tactics. A person won't be restricted to just a single weapon of each type, but 2 (maybe even 3). Don't like the standard shotgun? Then use the variant which fires much faster and less spread, but has less pellets. Overall they are equal, but in certain situations one is better than the other.

This is just the multiplayer, however. The story would be a completely different matter. It would take me quite a while to think of one now, so I'm not going to discuss it.

To sum it all up: Think of Valve and Bungie getting together and having a beautiful child. The greatest minds in FPS coming together to create a simply good game.
