See, there's the problem. You could start a religion with a god who wants everybody to shed their ignorance, and then people will start worshiping that god. But they won't actually get any smarter, they'll just assume they're right because they worship a god who wants them to be smart. If people actually did what their gods told them to do, the Republican party would want a 99% tax on the rich to build a homeless shelter on every corner.

That sounds kind of painful, like being pelted with edible golf balls.

OT: Randomly change colors of something for a few days just to get a cheap giggle at people freaking out. Maybe randomly dimming the sun for an hour or two for the same reason.

Otherwise I'd rewrite the Ten Commandments to be a bit more modern, and definitely make one of them into "Don't fight over religion" since that's just a silly thing to do. There would definitely be some minor cursing for people who do stupid things and full smiting of those who break the revised (read: easier to understand) commandments without remorse. That would be the obvious GODFACE aspect that people see.

Once a bunch of god stuff is done for the day, I'll take a stroll somewhere in the world and do small things to make that area a little prettier. I'm not talking about making everything Garden of Eden 2.0 but a little less polluted.
