A Bug/Dragon type. Something along the idea of dragonflies come to mind.

Well, it's not Bug/Dragon, but they do have Flygon, which is a take on a dragon fly.

As far as I'm concerned, if THAT isn't a dual type, then Pokemon failed most epicly. No other real world animal I can think of could be used as a template for this dual type.

Seriously Houndoom and Umbreon. Yeah, I know its kinda cheating from the Elite Four person, but I'd also have a Typholsion, Tyranitar, Blaziken and Marcargo.

There isn't any reason why a Gym has to have a particular type, according to the Pokemon canon, so I would have a range of types, all levelled up and pretty damn powerful (though not necessarily all evolved). And it would include my favourite Pokemon, because with the right love and care a Pokemon grows stronger. Have to believe in the Power of Heart, after all, it is a kid's show/anime...

I can't be very original anymore. Most of my ideas are already used, but here's what I've got.

I'd be a Dark gym leader. My gym would be shrouded in a black fog where my apprentices hide in and challenge unweary trainers. That looks pretty cool to me. As a gym leader I'd be wearing a dark robe and cloak to give a mysterious mood. Now, for my team
