An unnamed AK47-derivative: Reliable, robust, easy and fast to maintain in a battlefield, accurate up to 400m with iron sights only, the heavy bullets not overly bothered by the occasional tree or brick-wall between me and the target.

Glock 17. Small, packs a decent punch.

melee weapon

A knife/bayonet. Plus my rifle. Plus the sticks and stones around me. Everything is a weapon, if you only have the proper mindset. The knife would likely never see any use as a weapon though, more as a tool outside of combat. Besides, bringin melee-weapons to a gunfight is a bad idea.

what armor?

Light so-called 'dragon-scale' bulletproof vest/similiar + a composite helmet. Anything heavier will weigh me down too much and the amount of protection gained is dubious at best. An increased change of surviving shrapnel/small-arms fire is the best balance between weight, mobility, protection and visibility.

what kind of terrain is there?

I'd like forests and lakes, but enemy artillery likely has reduced the forests to woodchips. So, open country with sadly little to hide behind. Or urban warfare, depending where I'm commanded to.

who would be the enemies?

Dunno. Chinise, Yanks, Soviets. Or if things go to hell in a handbasket, the Swedes....

how would you fight?

In a unit (naturally) with standard tactics, close to normal rifle range (150-300 meters) would be preferred but likely some assaults on enemy positions/repelling enemy assaults would be required at some point or another. Ambushes, flanking maneuvers and mobile warfare is the word of the day. Melee combat is to be avoided at all costs, because bullets are faster and more deadly than any martial arts move.

EDIT EDIT: For those unaware of the penetrating power of an assult rifle, the last minutes of the film are dedicated to showing it with live ammo in lab conditions.

what armor? I am armour. My shell is created from the metal Necrodyrmis. It is a very tough armour and is capable of repairing itself on the spot. I can walk through an artillery barrage alive, ready with vengence. Not only that, I can change my appearence at will.

what kind of terrain is there? It doesn't matter where I fight. I'm Death incarnate, bringing about the Red Harvest throughout the universe, destroying all life.

who would be the enemies? All living organic material, down to micro-organisms.

We weren't fallen! The Necrontyr race was alive once, long long ago.....then they hated life, the unfairness of it all.

The C'tans, however, provided them an effective way of using that hatred against their enemies, and provide them immortality. The entire Necronyty race commited massive suicide, destroying their flesh for the immortality that is steel.

Now they are my army. No longer the Necrontyr, but rather the Necrons. Marching forth under my bidding to reap the Galaxy of all living things so that I may consume their souls!

They had it coming, after naming their entire race after death itself...

Or like my preffered Tyrannids you reap the army of there souls and EVERYTHING else attached, make them into nice biological goop and then breed more tyrannids...we can always make more Carnifrex....those silly ultramarines

Warpspace storms go away in time, and time means nothing to us Necrons. We will harvest all living things. No matter how long it takes, we will win.

Also, renegade friends? Necrons don't normally communicate (only two instances of communication have been documented between the Necrons and the living) and we reap all living things. These things would normally be classified as "Anti-Social"

No what I ment is renegades live in the maelstrom and go hang out with them hay, and when it blows over I will go back to the eye that's never going away.

Its more about avoiding necrons than fighting them plus warp space completely screws time.

Warp Space does, in a way, screw up time. Only for those in it though. Then again, once you get inside it won't matter I suppose, except with Daemons and crap all over the place.

Too true, everyone wants to avoid the Necrons but in the end they always catch up to you, no matter how slow their approach may be.

Im pretty sure that they have no way in to warp space and necrons hate psychers warps space sounds quite secure and demons are my friend its the undivided way of life.

They do have a way in through the Eye of Terror, it's just a matter of sending your ships through. Since the Necrons are technologically advanced, and that the C'tans are extremly intelligent with technology, they will eventually find a way through to combat them effectively.

As for psychers, yes it's true we hate them. That's why we have the Pariahs, Necron Elites that basically scare those that are connected to the warp (psychers) and thus they are like anti-psychers.

Pariahs arnt anti psykers there just null point and the reason you cant figure out the eye terror is that you need to be alive to navigate it so basically if you do come in you will get lost and there's lost demons to rape you if you come in apparently and infinite amount so feeling pretty safe.
