Because I've always been really into videogames, I've always wanted a tattoo that represents that. I decided I want three bars on either my chest or my shoulder blade, a red one with "HP" next to it, a blue one with "MP", and a green one with "XP". The red one would be full, the blue one about half full, and I'd add more and more to the green one as I got older.

That's been my best idea.

been planning for this tattoo for a while. It's going to be the Old Boys flag of my college's rugby team. It's the Norwegian flag with Ireland's Rugby crest in the middle of the cross (School and town has a heavy Norwegian influence while the team's founder and first coach was Irish). It's going to go on my right thigh right where you can't see it in regular shorts but most of it is poking out with rugby shorts on. Oh, and I'd figure it would be about the size of an index card.

I already have tattoos, 5 at current - one on each biceps, one on the left inner forearm (with all the veins and stuff), one on my right shoulder, and one on my back around the shoulder blades.

And before anyone starts. I got them because I like tattoos, and think they are one of a few things that looks good on anyone (barring design and artist's merit, or course).

I would have to have a damn good motivation for it, it is rather permanent. Maybe the n7 as seen in mass effect, but not on the chest, maybe some low visible place..

Getting a Mark of the L'Cie on the back of my left leg. Possibly Stage 3, with the red in it
I'd love to get the l'Cie brand somewhere. Not sure where though.

It's not that I enjoyed FF13 profoundly enough to get a tattoo from it, it's just that I think the l'Cie mark looks amazing. :p
Aye same here, I'm just going with the theme of Video Game style and inspired tattoo's haha. I'm gonna get an Assassin Symbol somewhere too :p

Maori Tribal tattoo, all the way down my left shoulder or arm, or an Ouroboros or my Left Pectoral.

Already got one, but if I was to get another, this:

Didn't the guy from Bioshock have the same thing?
Nah, you got him confused with the guy from The Hunt for Red October.
Never saw that movie, its apparently a classic
Nah, I did some research. Turns out that the chain tattoos are not from 'the guy from Bioshock' or Marko Ramius from 'The Hunt for Red October. It was actually Amerigo Vespucci [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amerigo_Vespucci] (Italian explorer, 16th Century AD) the first person to wear chain tattoos in his wrists. It was a non-common sea tradition by then used by navigators and cartographers alike. It stopped being common by the turn of the century, mainly because tattoos were taxed by the Catholic church back then (see Pope Innocent VIII [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_Innocent_VIII].)

Hmmm... no. I'm actualy quite un-educated ("As for me, all I know is that I know nothing." -Socrates, Republic, 354b, (conclusion of book 1)).
I'm just messing with you for not knowing who 'the guy from Bioshock' is, but now that I think about it no one is entitled or obligated to know everything I know. Anyways, what's with the "sarcastic" "quotes"?

On the top of my big left toe:

On my wrists, obviously:

A cookie for the person who can name what the first tattoo references.
