2C back then was the level just above the fail. And 2C is the lower end of the grade above that fail ;_;

(U (fail) - 2C - 2B - 2A - 3C etc)

here in Jesusland AKA America we use the grading system
highest: A-B-C-D-F :Lowest...
if you didn't know already and of course F stands for Failure... that's why they skipped E...<.<

Well, those grades were only for the years below year 9 (which was now 3 years ago) now we use the letters.

There is A*, A, B, C, D, E, F, G, (possibly a H), and U which is the fail. Yup, even F is a pass here
