Not exactly, I would defend my loved ones as I make my way out of the country, but I wouldn't go all militia on the invaders. Thats what the military is for and living in the country with the most advanced military in the world makes defending my country all the more pointless.

Yes, I would resist if the situation were one where we were being oppressed by invaders-if however, we were occupied and it was peaceful, and we didn't have boots on our necks, fighting back would serve no purpose at all except to hurt everyone.

It's my home. MY home. No one is going to invade my space without paying for it. A lot of you guys have it right though, America today is not such a great place to be and a lot of people don't like us very much. Depends on who the invaders are but probably yes. Invaders are never nice tot he people they are invading, partially because its hard for soldiers to like countries full of people who want to shot them. Course the invading force could be something like China simply repo-ing the US in which case resistance would be a political issue.

The main issue with people invading the US, particularly the south, there are more guns then people. Every citizen would end up armed. I know the armories here in my state would probably open up and allow anyone who was able to grab a rifle and kill invaders. I'd fear for anyone who looked like they were from out of town though.
