Firstly this wouldn't suprise me AT ALL the universe treats my love life as a [sarcasm]hilarious cavalcade of comedy[/sarcasm] as it is -.-

I think I would turn them in as I'm a good girl and these things tend to escalate. However, I am a bit of a sucker for people I love so who knows maybe I would cave and help them hide it.
So, you would help me bury the bodies? That's so kind of you, but after we are done I will have to kneecap you and leave in the very deep grave I dug over there while you thought I was taking a break. Sorry, but you're a witness. I have to cover my trail. You understand.
You know that thing in films where the murderer picks up the lonely hitchhiker girl with plans to kill her and she turns out to be a psychotic monster.

Hi there.

Moral of the story: Don't underestimate people you know nothing about.
If I'm in the mood to kill a hitchiker, I don't bother to stop.

You should heed your own advice, sweetheart.

No but I would use it to get anal.
You know blackmail didn't even enter my mind but now you mention it that's an amazing idea.
Are you guys/gals forgetting that your spouse is a MURDERER? I don't think blackmailing a murderer the smartest thing to do. I cannot empirically prove that, however.

Let me get this straight: You know that your wife, the same person that has been living with you for years, is secretly a serial killer who spends her nights murdering random people with all sorts of weapons. And your plan is to blackmail this person? Good luck.

But you see, if she killed someone close to her, it would draw unwanted attention from the police, they would feel obligated to investigate the loved ones if they lack any other leads, therefore I place the arbitrary percentage at "I am 5% convinced that she is the murderer*.

Furthermore if I know her, and based on the fact I've never spoken to her, I do, she'll play an elaborate game, killing as many people as possible while we are right next to each other. I think I'll ask her to join the investigation while we look for the killer of her husband. No, I INSIST.

It's the only logical thing to do.
Winning!

If my lover was a cunning serial killer with deep psychological problems; I would not turn him in, I would probably observe and study him.

It would also depend on the victims, and their role in the resent and future society.

What type of murder exactly?

If it was acidental or self defense, then no, I wouldn't.
If she turns out to be a serial killer... Then I am in between in turn her in or simply walk and leave her.

Depends like if she's a mass murderer that has killed husbands before, then yes.

I'd ask the situation, but I'd also turn them in and see if I could get them a plea bargain or something.

As you gave practically no details, I'm going to assume they are a murderer like Dexter, exacting their own form of justice on those that slip through or avoid the justice system.

In which case, no, I would not turn them in. Carrying such a secret would only bring us closer together.

It'd depend on the situation.

If she'd been watching one to many episodes of Dexter and decided that killing criminals was suddenly a good idea i'd ask her to stop, and if I couldn't make her quit i'd leave her.

If she's just killing for the fun of it then yeah, she's a bad person who needs to be in prison.

That would just be the worst thing that could happen short of one of us dying.

Depends. If she went on a Lumen Pierce-style revenge killing spree, I could be her Dexter Morgan.
In all other cases I can think of, I'd turn her in.

It depends on the level of loyalty there is between you and your spouse.
If we are both in love and loyal to each other I'd go on a killing spree with her.
