I think the most concise way to put it is this.
It's kinda like the NFL. It's American Football, which is great for america, and canada, but the rest of the world is kinda meh. In america you grew up with it, so its great, in Australia, we grew up with cricket so we think its great, just one of the many little differences in culture that tend to slip by from time to time.

Compact discs, they are tougher and should be able to remove zombie limbs with ease, with a bit of sharpening. And if they threw in an actual song, especially one by Queen in one of the climaxes, that would be an adrenaline rush times 100! I wouldn't want the zombie rush to end. I had never even really heard of the "Ashes" before now, and honestly the only "Ashes" that make sense here is to have Ash Williams make a guest appearance for some Zombie busting, but he uses a proper chainsaw and shotgun rather than a Cricket Bat.
Hey, who knows.. maybe there will be some Kendo Tournament in Japan and we'll get Kendo themed zombies... and that would actually be cool, especially if you could wear the Kendo armor since it would be bloody hard for zombies to bite through. >

Im glad L4D2 is throwing in melee weapons. Their variety is even better. I love in shaun of the dead when shauns rescuing Liz and he goes outta the way to hit zombies with his Cricket bat. i wanna be like that one day
So Cricket isn't popular worldwide, it was announced last month that the Americans are fielding a national team. Also rather shamefully we were horribly beaten by the Dutch! Cricket is one of the greatest sports in history!
Perhaps Im biased as I used to play it and watch it religiously....

I know you have already been corrected slightly, but from living in AUstralia, I can say that Baseball and Cricket are actually really similar. Both are very popular in some countries and unknown in others.Therumancer said:
