I'm starting to get a little to all the people who says "Oh you are so ignorant". Why? Because everyone is ignorant!
Ignorance = lack of Knowledge and everyone lacks knowledge, because we can't know everything.
why even bother calling another person ignorant. You are just as ignorant as the person who you are telling it to if not more ignorant.
So, what are your view on this?

You call them ignorant because they now little to nothing about the subject at hand. And usually, when doing so, they are unwilling to learn about the subject as well. Therefore, calling someone ignorant usually carries with it a negative connotation. I see no problem with calling someone ignorant if this is the case.

When you call someone ignorant, you're typically referring to a certain subject or type of knowledge. Like being ignorant of adult matters, or being ignorant on how to do the laundry. It's all about context.

To assume that being called ignorant always refers to your entire knowledge base is...well...ignorant.

First, most people that say that aren't meaning the word in the proper term, and are meaning "You're ignorant (of others feelings)" but likely don't know it.

Secondly, I see you're trying to go all Socrates here, but it's a bit pedantic to say that because somebody else doesn't know everything that they can't point out that you don't know something about a specific subject.

As if somebody's not some sort of omniscient being they can't point out something obvious.

If some professional came in and started to explain some technical or medical thing to me, I can bet that I wouldn't be like "Well, there's plenty in the universe you don't know, so you can't lecture me about what you do.", and not expect to be thought of as an asshole.

Edit: Also, ignorance is bliss is the dumbest and most temporary thing ever. You might be blissfully unaware that a boulder is gonna roll off a mountain (until it mashes you), but I'd take the knowledge (that might help me prevent it) any day.

That because we can choose to find out more information while those who are very ingonrant may just can't be bother to find out the information in another word lazy. I mean at least we put an effort to learn more.

Only so because if you know nothing of events around they cannot trouble you. Therefore with no troubles you are in bliss. But if you become aware of these events you world shatters around you as you realize how horrible it is.

I just woke up and am way too tired to actually type up something thought provoking. I'll just show you a picture which depicts my issue with this subject.

Carbon Monoxide poisoning and dying asphyxiated in my sleep says otherwise.

When ignorance combined with stubborness became equated to "Good old home fashioned folksy wisdom.", and intelligence or experience became equated to "classist elitism."... so roughly forever.
