Do you ever watch any sort of animation, or look at a drawing, and see something that just seems strange or wrong in some way?

I've been watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, and I just finished episode 3 of the Stardust Crusaders series. I'm enjoying it (although I'm hoping Hamon can still retain a little importance, even with the introduction of Stands), but I have to wonder: What the hell is up with Jotaro's hat?! Where does the hat end, and the hair begin? Is the answer to this anomaly some sort of plot twist later? Is it a stunning revelation that will rock the foundations of the entire plot and series thus far? . . . Am I just focusing on a minor artistic choice in an awesome anime a little too much?

Anyway, go ahead an post your own examples of strange illustration (preferably with a picture included).

its not just his hat but his angles look kinda wrong too, he's like a picasso painting look at his hand.....I don't know if I would have seen it that way had this not been about things looking "off"

EDIT: its IS animation though which isn;'t meant to be judged on individual frames (because some will look off)

Ok I know its his shirt and I knew it at the time....but I still can't shake the feeling of "skirt"

Yeah, Jotaro's face does look a bit more angular than Jonathan's or Joseph's. I'm assuming it's to show his half-Japanese descent, but I don't know for sure.

Wait, you're telling me that that's Arnold's SHIRT?! My whole life is a lie! 0_0

Sometimes I like that sort of thing and sometimes I don't. I guess it depends on my mood; if I was comfortable enough, I could sit in a gallery and gaze happily at optical illusions for hours, but if I'd missed breakfast then they'd probably just get on my wick. Whether the effect is intentional or not doesn't really matter to me.

Sonic's big conjoined goggle eye.

From a stylistic choice there's nothing wrong with it, it just catches my attention every time I see it.
It's really distracting.

"Boob Socks"
I see this a lot in American Comics, Manga and Anime and it bugs the hell out of me.
I'll leave the social commentary for another time, my point here is entirely one of aesthetics.
unless your character literally painted their costume on there's just no way that even the tightest latex, leather or spandex costume conforms to the body that much.

When the TV series caprice ended there was one moment where the final ending of the CGI was so horrible it was obviously CGI. Does that count?

I think you see this a lot more with art in games... particularily older games, especially 8bit ones... How many times have you seen icons or sprites in games that you haven't had a clue what it is, you have just taken it for granted?
