Actually a few people I've met from 5-15 are douchebags on forums, PSN, XBL and the internet in general.
The fact that you're 13 isn't the problem, the problem would be if you were a know-it-all douche who cannot think properly, but you don't seem like a know it all douche so you're fine.

Going on the pure facts, no there is not a problem. The age restriction for the escapist is, coincidentally, 13. You're completely clean.
It's a stereotype and a lot of us have had the experience of it. Also, older people feel the need to look down on others.
It is only a problem if you make it one. as long as you are respectful, as all players should be, and understand that your voice because of your age can be irritating to others, you will be fine. I've played with those with "girly" voices, some of them girls, and as long as they do not attempt to inflame others and keep their mic use to game related topics I have no problem.EBHughsThe1st said:

True there are some really immature little kids out there, but there are also some immature adults out there as well. It's not like they can control the sound of their voice, how does that make them any worse? I've been playing videogames since I was 4 years old. Had I not been given the opportunity to learn from a younger age, I wouldn't be playing them today. I'd probably be playing soccer, or (ew) hockey. Encourage the young gamers!

Because most 13 year olds, like me - piss everyone off online. It's an elitist sense with 13 year olds - including me - with the first prospects of internet and online anonymity (I think that's the/a word), that they can go around pissing off anyone they want.

I find people under their 20s annoying. 0-15 the voices, opinions, manners.. and the way they try to insult you, all of that is just stupid, uninformed and annoying. 15-20 their voices in most cases no longer annoying, but everything else still is. 21+ things get gradually better and they've turned the insults to an amusing art-form. Opinions may always be uninformed. But at 21+ you have earned the right to argue it. At 50+ I won't argue your opinion because you are probably right and I, compared to you, would have no idea of what I'm talking about.
A word of advice kid: Don't ever listen to anyone under the age of your parents (You may have to listen to authority ex. teachers to) because they don't know shit (not even you). But your parents DO know a lot better then you. So forget the youtube kids.
