Yeah. First of all. I'm british. Sorry.

Anyway. I wanted to ask. How on earth do you acted so assertive and confedent around girls? I mean, I sound childish, but i've allways had problems talking to girls i have feelings for.


There's this one girl i've allways had feelings for, but shes gone out with allmost all of my mates, and i've never had the confiance to even tell her that i really like her. Ever since i've been the guy she talks to for closure, ive felt really close to her, but it's just my problem that i cant tell her...

I'm not really sure why i'm posting this. But i dont know if you guys can help.

Talking to girls really isn't any different to talking to guys. You just find common things to talk about and you go up and talk. That's it. If she's going to you for closure then I guess you understand how to talk to a person anyway, so I don't think that's the problem.

In terms of telling someone that you like them, well the thing is, you don't need to tell them if you can show them, by asking them out to some fun stuff, showing her a good time, being a fun guy to hang out with and generally looking after her (without being a possessive douche). If you take her out some time and do all that stuff, she'll cotton on that you're into her, unless she's a dummy you won't need to say anything at all. So next time she's talking to you about how guy X did something stupid last weekend that pissed her off and now he hates her, and she starts crying on your shoulder, why not offer to take her to the movies to cheer her up...

maybe ignore her for a while, and get back to her in a few weeks? Dont make a big deal about it, but everytime she calls make an excuse. then get back to her and see how much she actually cares about having you around. Maybe ask her out then? I cant say its tried and tested, but it might be an idea... break your routine from her before telling her you like her, and I think something would be more likely to happen.


If you're looking for confidence I would getting a part time job. Its good practice asserting yourself and selling yourself to people. Buy new clothes, join a gym. you'll feel better about yourself and people WILL notice. this girl especially...
