I have a fear of bridges and a morbid fear of heights, let's hear your fears guys!
To quote Sheldon:
"Fear of heights is irrational! Fear of falling on the other hand, is prudent and evolutionary!" :D

OT:
- Slight fear of heights - dampened mostly, though not completely, by railings, don't have any problem though as long as I know whatever's separating me and height is solid, so leaning over the window (and thus over a thick wall) I'm perfectly fine with, while leaning over a thin railing I'm still thinking "don't break off, don't break off" sometimes :p
- Fear of sharks - and generally anything nasty in the water where I have fuck all chance of reacting

Can't remember any more :p

Only one thing scares me the most

^Oh shit, that too. Those fucks belong in the innermost circle of hell. And I do have a proper fear of them ever since one stung me less than an inch above my eye a few years ago.

I can't think of anything right now but that doesn't mean I don't fear anything. Everyone's afraid of something(unless they have some kind of mental disorder) they just have to find out what. I just don't feel like spending 10 minutes in contemlation of my fears just so I could write a quick post. Heights would be an easy answer I guess.

I have some weird mix of fear of heights/falling ....i'm relatively fine (depending on the height ofc) as long as i look anywhere but up....if i sit on my window ledge on the first floor and look up i feel like i will fall out the window any second.

I have a fear of heights and as a kid I was afraid of elevators for some reason. I don't really know why but my biggest fear was that an elevator would just stop moving with me stuck inside. Now I don't have any problems with elevators.

I suppose I'm slightly afraid of the dark, I've never enjoyed the dark.
I guess I don't like driving either...
Or heights/flying (planes)...
But I guess, the thing I'm afraid of most, in the darkest, subdued, recess of my mind, I don't want my fiancée to leave me.

Needles. *shudder* Also those I care about being harmed, or dying without doing anything...meaningful.

However, my general fear response is near berserk rage, so...yeah. Gotta love the looks you get when you ask the nurse to make sure you're solidly bound before drawing blood, to make sure you don't do something irrational and hurt someone only trying to help you.

Spiders and confined spaces underground, I'm perfectly fine with confined spaces above ground though.

Dogs, vicious decendents of pack hunters...and they can smell you...
im sorry but i misread that as dongs and it made me laugh

anyway for me it has to be a fear of going in fast things that arn't necessarily in my control. i.e. rollercoasters and go karts to an extent

I'm deathly afraid of heights. My feet MUST be planted on a solid surface that's not raised off the ground.

I'm also afraid of murky water. I can't stand not knowing what's swimming around me as I float there. I think this stems from my childhood when I used to play fishing games that gave you a third person perspective on the hook. You could barely see in front of you, then the giant, gaping maw of a Bass comes out of nowhere and swallows your ass.

Fucking terrified me when I was a kid. I NEVER got past that fucking level.

Blood. Or bleeding. Or needles, because they remind me of blood.
The idea alone makes my hands shaky and my knees weak.
Sometimes it gets so bad that I get nervous when I can hear my own heartbeat.
It's also worse if someone else is bleeding then when I'm bleeding, which is kind of strange.

My sister has a bad phobia of grasshoppers. I gave her that phobia by catching them as a kid and putting them in her hair.
I feel guilty, but she's paying me back. She's studying to become a nurse, and the stories she can tell... Pure horror.

I'm terrified of becoming paralyzed, or losing a limb, or anything that would limit my mobility. I honestly would prefer to die before being unable to move the way I want to.

I'm not so scared of death itself, but rather I'm convinced that death is the utter end and I'm rather fond of being.
