I'm confused...

I'm seeing quite a few people that are banned from the site for posting in a thread, Why do many girls take pictures of themselves? Curious as to why this was, I clicked on the link to the thread, but the thread was not found. What happened here?

I've no idea what thread you are talking about, but chances are, if a lot of people got banned and you can't find the thread, it probably got 404'ed...

I didn't go there, but I assume the comments were unsavoury and/or sexist.
It was also deleted by the Mods, maybe for those reasons.

That user was banned for that thread? I thought that was a pretty good thread considering its true, at least for most of the girls I know.

Although, you're right. I've been seeing a large number of locked threads, people put on probation or even banned.

I was just suspended for a post that (I thought) wasn't really that bad. I wont say it here for fear of being banned. If you want to know it, PM me.

I think the mods are preempting flame wars. The problem is they're overdoing it, and sometimes get innocent threads. Or thats what it seems like to me, I made a thread where everybody agreed with each other and it got locked.

Same here. I made a thread about why people still believe in the whole 2012 thing and Labyrinth locked it even though there was no flame war.
