THANK YOU. I'm so glad I read this thread before clicking the link because that is prime asshole design.

I don't think there is actually a prompt to register, I went to 1000 and never saw one so I think Wintermute was making it up. It's probably not collecting data either. It's just from an old website from the early 2000s that has a lot of random generators.
