Could anybody recamend me a good RTS. one for the 360 would be good but for the pc It has to be able to run on a piece of shit (best i can play is genz). For the Xbox i have C&C3 and halo wars.
Also i had a lot of fun with Star wars Empire at war, does any one know how much it is now?

Hmm you could always try the 360 version of Supreme Commander. Its a brillant game on the PC and I heard the 360 port was well handled.

The best way to make an RTS is to make it turn based instead. Go for one of the fire emblem or advanced wars games.

Thou shalt play Warcraft 3! And Starcraft! And become a Blizzard-fanboy right now!

Try Brütal Legend I guess... if that's your thing.

EDIT: Do you have other consoles than the 360? Because then you could track down the extremely shitty Alien VS Predator Extinction.

I loved that one.

I can tell you to AVOID STORMRISE AT ALL COSTS.

Seriously.

I know there are hardly any RTS games for consoles and that Stormrise might be tempting considering the lack of such games, but seriously, it is so god-damn awful that it will make you homicidal towards game developers.

Right now, I'll tell you, halo wars is shite, however Battle For Middle Earth 2 (Probably a bit difficult to find by now) is my favourite console RTS.

You could try the games discussion forum.

Also, just as a note even developers have pretty much decided RTS on the 360 does not work. For proof see the poor sales of previous games and also the fact that the next C&C has no intention of heading for the console when asked why in an interview the answer to paraphrase was 'what's the point'.

Anyway, on PC wait a while and there will be a Starcraft 2 and if you can't run it get the original one, last I looked it was still very popular.

Command and Conquer: generals: Zero hour. game doesn't have that good graphics, but it is quite fun. you can pick it up with the ten year anniversary collection of the game. definitely not the best in story(your the Americans/Chinese/Terrorist, kill the other guys), but it gets a little odd when the devs said that this is indeed cannon and this all happened in universe, even the red alerts.

errrrr well consoles and good RTS's go hand in hand like glass houses and TNT.

OT try warcraft 1, 2 & 3 also try starcraft and the command and conquer red alert 1 & 2, age of the empires and if your lucky enough to find a copy, total annihalation was an amazing game

For pc I'd say dawn of war dark crusade. My favourite RTS of all time. If you need one for 360 then probally supreme commander. I've heard it's really good.

I'm not sure if your PC can run it, but I recommend 'Warhammer 40.000: Dawn of War' and its first two expansion packs, 'Winter Assault' and 'Dark Crusade'.
