Right so I've gotten sick of running all my PC games on lowest graphics and them taking 500 years to load each pixel regardless, so I've decided to get a computer I can play games on. But I really don't know how... like is building it worth it over just buying alienware laptop? Or will I still save money if I pay someone to build it for me?

I apologize, I might not really know the questions to ask even. So what would you recommend?

Whatever, just wash your hands.
Well, you get the most bang for your buck with a desktop, plus you can also upgrade it. A laptop has the benefit of portability but they cant really be upgraded, some will let you put in more ram and some let you even upgrade a videocard but there is a limit. I would suggest getting a desktop and finding a small local computer shop to build it for you, unless you have the knowledge or a friend who can help build it.

Get a desktop, and get a tech-savvy friend to build it for you.
I'm sure they would in exchange for a copy of the latest AAA title they've been looking forward to.
That's what I'm doing. Pccasegear.com is a good site to use if you live in Australia, not sure about overseas.
You should get a pretty awesome rig for $1,200.
