Warning: This thread will likely contain spoilers, and this post alone has spoilers from the best moment in Alan Wake, you have been warned.
Alright, so yeah, I was playing Alan Wake and about halfway through the game you have a huge hectic battle on a stage while this song [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwV0jMmvtt0] plays in the background. It's, literally, epic. It is also very similar to the finale of Dark Carnival of Left 4 Dead 2, another awesome struggle to survive with some rock and roll blaring in the background, greatly adding to how amazing these moments are. These are honestly two of my favorite events in gaming, because they're just so much fun.
And so I was thinking, what are your favorite events that you'll remember for a long time? Maybe the AC-130 from Call of Duty 4? Or an epic boss fight with amazing mood music? First time seeing a chainsaw zombie in Resident Evil?
Note: I'm talking more of a video game setpiece [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/VideoGameSetpiece] that everyone who plays the game will experience, not personal stories. And, I did run a search, it's just kind of a vague topic to search for.
