Does this description sound "bad"?

Q: I'm interested in whether these games have scratches. Could you hold the discs up to the light and tilt them at various angles and observe their condition? Then give me a general description of their condition (e.g., lots of scratches), please.
A: X has some very light surface scratching which does not affect the gameplay at all. Nothing deep at all. Y also has a few light scratches, fewer than 1 and also plays very well. These could be buffed with no problems at all and look like new again. Thanks for asking!

Should I still purchase these two games?

I'm assuming you are buying from a used game store. If so, ask them to buff it for you. If the scratches are still there and unaffected, don't buy it.
