All of these April Fools mod threads seem to be attracting those of us who consider ourselves important, yet still haven't been banned. Are we in some way overcompensating for not being banned, in a perverse way begging for the banhammer to fall, if onyl to justify our own self-worth?

I'm getting too philosophical, and this whole April Fools thing has made me really loathe myself, which I suppose is quite a neat, if extraordinarily painful, trick to play on someone's psyche.

I don't want to have a big ego, but I so want to be banned, if only to be able to say, I made enough of an impact that they banned me! Which is about the most depressing thought I think I have ever had, and since I haven't done anything else today, it has literally been plagueing me since I first checked the Escapist this morning.
