Do we really have to wait for the US to catch up on the series before we can play the game? Is there really a big issue of them bringing out the game before the series?

yeah you do.. that's how marketing works.
But you can import it, use some means to override region protection and take a translation guide from the web and have fun with it.

inb4 who cares, it's naruto lol!!!1

I think it's probably a marketing strategy. It may also be because they don't want to spoil any part of the series for the fans.

that's deffinately the reason

Hopefully it will be available soon. and hopefully the game wont have the stupid American voices that ruined the anime and will have the original japanese voices with subtitles like they do in Dead or Alive.

oh, and did I forget to mention that the manga is allready avalible in english?

I see no reason to delay a shippuuden game, the company that made it would make so much money...

They would make a lot of money! They could put out it on DVD so as not to ruin it for everyone. I actually can't wait for the most recent movie either. If I could get a date to work with I would really be extremely happy.

Some people don't like watching a subbed series that is broken up into parts with terrible video quality. Maybe it's for those people.

Who knows-- but I'm willing to bet that their marketers are better at marketing than anyone on this forum.

okay, let's look at it from a marketing standpoint.

what reason could they possably have for delaying it and just showing all of the stupid filler episodes right now? last time I checked, people are dieing for the new series to be dubbed in english, they would watch the entire thing religiously if they launched it tomorrow. there's no marketing in there, it's just common sence (or lack thereof)

It's really easy to find episodes that aren't broken up with pretty good quality. I'd rather watch it and read the subtitles than to have Cartoon Network edit the hell out of it to the point of not wanting to watch it.

Am I the only one who hates Naruto with a burning passion?
LOL. It's not for everyone. I really love the uncut versions and Shippuuden is a little better with them being older. Naruto can be annoying but I really watch it for Neji and Kakashi. Plus, Rock and Guy are two of the biggest fools ever! It really would be nice to have a game to go along with it though.

Most Naruto fans already know about Shippuuden and are either reading the manga in America, watching it on the internet, or reading manga scans that are coming straight from Japan. So there's really no reason to hold back a Shippuuden game. I am sure I am not the only one who gets tired of playing the Haku/Zabuza ark over and over again.

just burn it, sure you have to learn the kanji for 'yes', 'no', and 'new game' but it is actually a pretty fun game, my cousin burned it, look for a torrent of "narutimate axcel" and burn it to a dvd, it's for ps2 and you would either have to have a chip, softmod or swap magic, but it's worth it, right?(<--sarcasm)
