First off, try and read the spoiler after you've read the post. Cheers

I figured i'd give being a hypocrite a go, as well as parodying complaint threads, if you think i'm being serious, chill out, its all in good fun. This is in no way serious, even if it sounds like it is. In fact, if it sounds like it is, its how I want you to read it.

Hell, do a serious complaint that's easily argued or made fun of when you reply, I figure we can all use the venting.

Oh, just to confuse anyone who ended up ranting without reading this, would you rather be a velociraptor or skeletor? Don't explain why you gave the answer for added fun!

I'm sick of people who complain about to many threads about x or that people start to many threads that are insulting to quite frankly, both sides. These threads are going to exist and the answer is quite simple, you shouldn't have to read them! It's quite simple really. To many mass effect threads? Just close your eyes, breathe and move on. Surely that's easier than going into the threads is it not?

I mean, when you go into the time and effort it takes to click, purposely read, move the mouse, click quote, compose and argument, type it out, check it for mistakes and press post? Well damn, you've contributed to the argument already.

Making a thread about these threads is even worse! It lets these people know you're paying attention. Reading about how you've noticed them talking about whatever the hell they're talking about! Surely you don't want that, you just want them to fade into obscurity, do you not?

Hell, in most of these topics the very topic the op is trying to avoid will come up! You don't want that do you? You'll just end up adding to a very long list of people you don't like for contributing to the argument. And where will you be? That's right, in that list of people.

So be smart, don't be a sheep. Ignore threads you don't like. Its the right way to go.

Now scroll back up and read the spoiler.

TL;DR?

Don't make threads about threads that you don't like, because you've just made a thread about it.

How dare you rant about peoples freedom to rant on how much they disapprove of certain topics! Surely this shall only free some kind of endless loop of rant and hilarious nerdrage! I must hide away before such a catastrophic event begins!

And with that I say velociraptor to you good sir.

Yeah, it is one thing that pisses me off about this forum (I wouldn't know about other ones) but the amount of "stop making threads about X" is stupid!

I think it mostly comes from people who think there post is so ground breakingly awesome and new that it deserves it's own thread, which means you now have 2 threads with the same arguments in it ... then somebody decides there post is so round breakingly awesome and new that it deserves it's own thread and now there is 3 etc

I also think the mods or whatever of this site should make an official thread for the BIG games that come out, for example how many mass effect 3 threads where there? Not just about the ending but the hype to it and all that other stuff?

How many will there be for diablo III? 30? 40? All complaining about 1 thing or another 'cos gamers love nothing than a good ol' *****!

Just make an "official Diablo III" thread and lock all other Diablo III threads 'cos that ME3 shit was and still is ridiculous!

The answer is peanut butter!

In all seriousness though I can't stand seriousness. Take a step back breath and let go.

I have the power!

Skeletor.

I love complaint threads though.

I rarely take anything seriously so I live the serious side vicariously through the serious people of this forum.

I'm like a seriousness voyeur.

I'm sick of threads that don't have another thread complaining about them, how will I ever hear both sides of the argument?!

Also, what are we talking about here - if you mean like the ones from Skyrim and Minecraft that have a ranged attack, then definitely a skeleton, just thinking practically should I need to defend myself from some random adventuring computer game protagonist.

Quick Question:
Why was this thread not called "I've had enough of your disingenous assertions"?
I would have called it that, but I was afraid of adding to the mass effect complaint threads, because i'm being srs about the complaint threads, because forums are srs business.

I'm glad so many people understood what I meant by this thread though, I wrote it at like three in the morning after all.

can I be a skeleton velociraptor?
'Cause velociraptors are cool, and skeletor is cool.
I want the best of both worlds.
