i have currently come down with a case of Gastro, and as such vomiting ceaselessly, even if theirs nothing left to vomit
My question to you is how do you overcome such a terrible affliction?
Also, post any illness's/wounds you are currently suffering from and maybe someone would eb kind enough to provide some advice on how to best deal with it :)

Well, I'd say keep a bucket handy. Or a barrel.

I'm currently suffering from haemochromatosis, a knee that never healed properly after being busted, showing signs of hepatitis AND suffering from depression.

Yeah, what you got?

I cannot help you out with your illness I'm afraid.
Just keep a bucket or one of those fancy sick bowls handy. XP

Anywho, I'm currently suffering for a sexy eye infection. Gonna go see a doctor about soonish and in the mean time, I'm gently rinsing it with water til I can receive medical treatment.

While I haven't been diagnosed with it (thank god), I am at a high risk of developing ALS because it's in my family history. Normal sickness, though, I usually just tough out.

(I've talked about this several times before so if I'm bugging anyone with the same old song and dance, I is sorry)

No illness I've had compares to what my anxiety (panic) attacks earlier this year left me feeling.

I suffered eight over the course of a full week last year, and it really left me a shell of my former self. I barley ate, I didn't feel like even getting up out of bed, I was scared to sleep, I felt like I was literally going to die any second.

I'm still struggling with the after effects from it, and I doubt I'll ever be completely back to how I used to be before it. It really is one of the worst experiences someone can have. Hopefully, it will never again, but it will always be in the back of my mind lurking somewhere.

Wow, you guys sure are getting the worst of it. I usually just tough out anything I catch, and am currently sporting a cold. (nothing major, just the odd headache and a touch of snottiness)

Hope you guys all recover soon! :D

Thanks, I couldn't find an 'introduce yourself' thread so I thought I'd just jump right in!

I used to be somewhat like you... Then I moved to Australia and suddenly I'm plagued with illnesses.

Is there an allergy to Australia on record? Because I might have it.

Uh... Keep your aim steady?
I found out that I am allergic to shrimp(violently and all over the place) about five months ago. I had sneaked a bit of Ramen that I didn't know had shrimp, felt bad after a few hours. Now here's the fun part. A friend got me an English muffin thing from BK. I ate it and about ten minutes later threw it up, with a piece lodging in my sinuses.
Also, it's hard to vomit when you have diarrhea so I just used some plastic bags while duel-wielding exploding orifices. That was a fun 36 hours.

He forgot to mention the basement. Stay out of it, and make weekly sacrifices to the mods.

On a more related note, I just recovered from a terrible sore throat, I spent three days whispering. And I am usually the shouting, arguing, kind of person. It was a sad time.

Best TF2 add-on ever?
Hell, add that on to any game and I'm sure sales will sky-rocket.
It'll be the new tea-bagging.

EDIT: I believe I forgot to mention what was exploding out of my orifices:
Bile and Feces
Which actually sounds like a metal band.(I'd go see them.)

I've never really been sick beyond an occasional cold, from one of which I'm currently recovering. I'm actually abnormally lucky when it comes to sickness. As far as wounds, I just sliced my finger with a bread knife while trying to open a package of frozen strawberries. That's about it.
