Let me say first, I apologize if doing it this way is against the rules. I wasn't sure if we needed a 'license', or needed a minimum amount of posts, or what. If this is in violation of something, do let me know and I can take it down, thanks.

Basically, the concept is this: Bringing all the wrestling characters from fighting games, into one massive federation. Zangief, King, Raiden, the Rumble Rose hussies, all of it. Also accepting original characters, just no actual wrestlers, like Dennis Rodman or Mongo.

In terms of matches, I want them to be good, and to play out like they're interesting. This isn't boxing or MMA, a wrestler who wins a boring match didn't win at all. Keep that in mind, dudes and dudettes.

Any interest? If so, y'know, I'll hash out a better story and all that, but I want to see if anyone would bite first.

Mmmmm...
Perhaps make 50% Behind the stage and 50% the Ring.
Play it out in a TV Drama sense I.E. Two "Rivals" in the Ring fighting for the Heavyweight belt but still head to the pub together or a Tag Team that can't stand being around each other.
Have a totally different character outside the ring, you know, like making The 'Roid Rage guy be a Law student.
Could use a Dice-System to determine who wins and loses.

And relax about your post count, provided you GM good, it won't matter.

Some of those ideas are great, but some are Dutchy. I know there is concern over godmoding and power playing in a game like this, but a dice system wouldn't really make things climactic, and that's the main concern for a wrestling match. It needs to look good. You don't see Hulk Hogan win after throwing a guy into a turnbuckle and deciding the guy's health was "far enough down" or something.

However, I like the rival thing. In fact, I was hoping people would go in for all that. After all, it would be meaningless to just book people in random matches without meaning.

I imagine it would be up to the player if they wanted their character to break kayfabe and just be a quiet book nerd or something outside of the ring. Anyway, thanks for showing interest man. :D
