Immortality, but it's you or them

I couldn't do it for the lives of any friends, nor any non-old family members.

Having dealt with the death of my best friend not even two years ago, there is no way that I could do it again. Objectively, I know that it would be far, far better for all of humanity for me to do it, but I just wouldn't be able to handle it. I'd take death.

Now, give me the ability to do random people, and I would in a heartbeat.

I'd shoot the warlock in the head. without listening to his offer. as soon as i found out he was a warlock, boom. dead.

why? warlocks are the arrogant asshole brother of the ignorant and haughty witch. they don't even attempt to use their power for anything other than their own personal gain. they enjoy causing misfortune. and the generally fuck with the equilibrium. any spell caster worth his salt wouldn't be caught dead casting spells without a damn good reason.

Yes to all of them. My preference is for the 50 I "hate". All I'd have to do is find that many remorseless murders and get them to hate me and I'd be set. I have 10 people that I would mourn, but would not utterly destroy me if I was responsible for there deaths. These people fall into the friendly co-worker/adequateness category. That said the immortality schtick is the only one of these "reward" scenarios that I would do this for.

I don't think I could do it if I had to sacrifice the 10 closest people to me though.

Option 4: I'd become the Warlock. And sacrifice him for negative energy to become immortal.. A warlocks power must be immense.

As far as the base scenario yes I'd do it. I'd mourn them but immortality means more to me then family anyway. Mother, Father, Older Brother, just need two others, I'd do in a heartbeat.

Take it from someone who has lost their father: You would regret it for the rest of your immortal days.
You need to reset your priorities if you think living forever is more important than your family.

Take it from someone who has lost all thier grandparents and had to be a pallbearer for one of them, I can deal with death. Immortality means you have time, time to do things you normally couldn't, you could easily be a successful politican based on the years you'd have to raise finances, make allies, and work your way into position you need. Also the great thing about family is you can always get a new one, and when that one dies out, make another, and another till the end of time. It's worth the death of 5 mortals that loved you, especially if you look back thousands of years later.

Must agree with him though. An Eternity of Good and Bad feelings surely outweighs six mere lifetimes. If he lasts more than six hundred years his sure to have had more feelings than 'all' the dead familly members he left behind. . If people didnt know about what he did to achieve it.

Bonus: Negative energy, but is weaker - 20 and 50 people who you hate, and hate you. I'd find this harder to achieve really - I can't think of five people who fit this criteria.

When you chuck this one in it turns from "moral dilemma" into "paradisaical scenario".

Could I perhaps reap an extra couple hundred to get someone else in on the deal? And after that could I keep going for it's own sake?
