well putting your weapon away in front of a hostile character couts as yielding, so try that first.

Wait... that's not an important question. I was hoping it could really be something stunning and sureal. Perhaps the question starts off about Fallout 3 then extends into the depths of our minds, taking us on a magical journey through time and space to the point beyond where time and space stop... and magic begins! i don't know if it would work in the rangers compound but i know if you go ona killing spree in megaton or rivet city you can leave town and come back in like an hour or two real time and everyone acts like it never happened

You can try waiting 72 hours, if they're still hostile then they'll be hostile forever. So reload from a previous save if that doesn't work.
