I've had no problems with importing via the UK's GAME, and I've heard good things about Play Asia.

Just remember about region-lock.

I'm pretty sure that Steam and GFWL have region locked versions on them that prevent you from playing certain games.
I'm not 100% sure, though.

I don't usually bother with special editions or anything, so I can't really help you. In fact, I'm not that bothered by Australian release dates. Except when I thought the EU release date of the latest Pokemon was ours and so I had to wait SIX MORE DAYS to get Black.

These are the two I use the most, they're both reliable and fast. EBGames and GameStop might not actually ship overseas anymore, I remember ordering some Square games from them almost 10 years ago now, but it was incredibly expensive and difficult, and I heard since then that they don't ship internationally anymore, but I'm not certain. Anyway, go with Play Asia or Game UK, they're better and cheaper than EB.

Yeah i dont normally but for some games i like too. most collectors editions come with a load of crap that i never use like a book of screenshot from the game or some nonsense like that

I recently ordered Monster Rancher from GameStop, simply as a way of testing region lock on the DS, so my brother could order White. Didn't take too long, but I still prefer GAME.
