do any exist anymore?
My suggestion is look up the pawn shops in your area or check out garage sales for really, really old pcs. That's your best bet. I understand how you feel, I miss my IBM/PS2 keyboard sometimes.Rattler5150 said:Im looking for a pc keyboard, us english, 101 keys (NO WINDOWS KEYS), USB-wired

That's surprising, actually. In my case, it's gaming that makes that key necessary. Sometimes, if you have a really buggy game that keeps crashing on you, that windows key is the only thing that can get you back into windows without doing a hard reboot. Granted, I haven't had a game lock up to that extent since switching from XP to 7, but I'd be surprised if that problem was completely gone.Rattler5150 said:I just find the windows key an annoyance, its always in the way, accidently hitting it while gaming
I thought it would be something like the computer not registering the keyboard.Frozen Donkey Wheel2 said:I thought this topic would be about a guy who lost his keyboard and needed help finding it.\
I am disappointed.
I think he's just sick of accidently hitting the windows key and getting thrown back to the desktop while playing a game and trying to hit the ctrl key to duck as it's often used for.Mr.Tea said:You got something against the windows key? You don't have to use it you know... Or are you one of these "Hardcore Mac/Linux/BSD/Other" guys and anything Windows-related is an insult to you?Rattler5150 said:Im looking for a pc keyboard, us english, 101 keys (NO WINDOWS KEYS), USB-wired

Are you sure? Isn't tabbing or ctrl+alt+delete just as effective? If not more?Owyn_Merrilin said:That's surprising, actually. In my case, it's gaming that makes that key necessary. Excuse the post so soon after my last one, but I wanted you to get the notification from the quote, so editing was out of the picture.
Usually, but some games would lock up to the point that there was nothing but a black screen. Ctrl+alt+delete would bring back the portion of the screen where the task manager was, but alt+tab didn't really do much. Pressing the windows key would bring the task bar back, which could generally be used to get back the rest of the screen by opening other programs. It was a pretty narrow set of circumstances, but it seemed to happen with annoying frequency.Nincompoop said:Are you sure? Isn't tabbing or ctrl+alt+delete just as effective? 'aight. Not sure if I have experienced that. Game flaws haven't been prevalent in my years of gaming.Owyn_Merrilin said:Usually, but some games would lock up to the point that there was nothing but a black screen.
