Imagine if you are the head of a design team for a game studio you love. What would you add to it? For me I would add to the Saints Row franchise.Firstly I would put in a building element. You can buy any area of land and then build on it.Secondly your vehicle's take up space. I can see how this would be annoying but by using the building feature you can make massive garages and there won't be arbitrary limits on the amount of cars you can own. Lastly put in turrets as a customisation option.Somehow I think Saints Row will be improved with a floating doom fortress.

As head of the design team, I can't unilaterally change the graphics, sound or code of my favorite titles. That cuts out an awful lot of fixes.

Halo Reach launched with a long list of simple, easy fixes like replacing tanks with Wraiths on maps without hard counters to a tank, but Bungie has already fixed most of them. Good for them!

What immediately comes to mind is revamping the control scheme for Street Fighter. Six buttons and a joystick was awesome in 1991 but now it just shuts you out of the enormous casual market who would love another chance to have Ken beat up Chun-Li. I would add an alternate control scheme straight out of the iPhone version, with four buttons: Punch, Kick, Special, Focus. Low kick with down+kick. Uppercut with forward+special. Ultra by pressing both triggers.
