Some people here may be familiar with imvu, a creepy chat 3D chat room with lots of equally creepy ads. I've always found said ads pretty deplorable, but this latest one... well... just look at it.

I haven't really seen much like that (I have noscript and adblock) but I always get those ads in front of youtube videos, blip videos and some other format. I can usually deal with them (click on them then instantly close the window it brings up) but lately they have become unskippable.

Besides both Evony and IMVU? I'd say the ones on Facebook that advertise "sexy Christian singles." Anyone who actually cares about the Christian lifestyle won't be going to a site to meet girls for a one-night-stand. Just seems stupid, inapplicable, and insensitive to Christians.

I guess we know very different Christian girls then. But either way, if they are, they won't care whether the people they find are Christian or not. No one will be consciously searching for a girl who's part of a religion that opposes casual sex if all they want is a one-night stand. It doesn't make any sense.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand what you are getting so worked up about.

Yes, they are using a popular (for some unknowable reason, but that doesn't really matter here) movie to sell their product. Kind of dodgy, but not really deplorable.
