Alrighty, basically as a 17 year old unable to find a permanent or at least long lasting job, my financial resources are very limited, and by limited I mean basically I get money when local companies ask me to design their website logo or something to that effect. So I will most likely have to pick and choose what games I will be buying as Q4 closes at the end of 2011. I will post a list of games that I am interested in buying and I guess choose two that you think I should end up investing in.

Modern Warfare 3, yes I am interested in it and I'm sure it will get no votes but I suppose I'll include it just for shits n' giggles.
Battlefield 3
Skyrim
Deus Ex
Fifa 12
Uncharted 3
RAGE

Just for clarification I have a PS3 if that adds or detracts from any opinions you might have. Again I will probably only be able to get 2 of these games at the very most until Christmas which I know is not a long time at all but still. Thanks for any opinions. And please please please please for the love of god no comments on how I'm an idiot for being interested in MW3. Constructive responses only people.

EDIT: Yes I capitalized major because this is a very stressful decision for me :p

Skyrim or BF3, but you should probably put more effort into job hunting if you're that strapped for cash.

I would have to say Battlefield 3 of Skyrim. they both will have the most support and continued supplements of DlC and the like, as well as having the most definitive and varied combat to keep it interesting. it really depends on your preference of course. If you prefer rpg's then Skyrim, with its gloriously flocking huge quest and NPC content, and if you prefer Modern shooters then Battlefield 3, with its unmatched customisation, Hugh Jackman sized fighting and...well... JETS.

although Modern warfare is still awesome, that little dispute is quite different. do you prefer the large sweeping war of battlefield? or the condensed fast pace of modern warfare? (with a survival mode, which is always awesome.)

EDIT= also, ignore fifa. roster updates do not class as sequels!

Ah yes the problems I had as a 17 year old and not having money for games, this is something that plagued me during my 16-18 years of age before I got a job.

I'd say the first one you should try to get is Skyrim because games like that can last you quite awhile with its replay value. Another choice is Battlefield 3 and it could last you awhile with it's online play. That's my 2 cents but I don't know much about the other games to have a valid opinion on them.

Well I know this would be more appropriate for an off topic thread but believe my I have tried my ass off to find an actual job and to no avail. Anyways, I may not choose Skyrim as one of them, because when I picked up Fallout New Vegas I hated it, but recently I got back into it so I still have yet to play that game into the ground. Now this doesn't disbar Skyrim from being a possibility but it lowers it's chances.

Battlefield 2
Well Battlefield 2 is probably only like 10 bucks so there's no reason you couldn't get that.
Battlefield 3 sorry. Edited OP but you know what I meant.
I know. Just curious have you ever played Bad Company 2 or any of the other Battlefield games? If you haven't you might want to rent Bad company 2 first because they play very differently from Call of Duty.

Uncharted 3
Then dump the other options and get the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection. It's better than any of those will be, and only $40 to boot.

But if you hate good games, get Skyrim instead. It's a good game too, it's just not Shadow of the Freaking Colossus.

skyrim, rage, and either BF3 or MW3, personally I would nix that last one, but, what ever floats your fancy for an online shooter, the first two for re-playability.
