I've noticed recently that there seems to not be a lot of game worth buying coming out(for me anyways). Which has lead me to play good games that are a bit older (Half life 2, Mass effect, the PoP series, etc.). It has been a boon for me though as most of these games really are good and I wouldn't have played them otherwise. My question is what do you do when you find the game industry has come to a drought of decent games and nothing new worth playing is coming out?

Same thing you do. Find old, great games to play. Recently, I downloaded Psychonauts because I couldn't find anything to buy for the 360. (Oh, and it was free, too.)

These times are a hidden godsend. I am not getting any new games until June, but recently I have been playing Morrowind and Oblivion again, but also I have been playing Dragon Warrior Monsters again. Old games are worth playing again, this is why I almost NEVER get rid of any game. (Cept for Fuzion Frenzy 2, I was glad to be done with that)

Same. Just finally played shadow of the Colossus and I loved it even though it made me get very angry and hit the wall a lot.

I recently played through every LoZ game I own (every one since link to the past excluding Four Swords and that DS game) and it was great!

If nothing on the horizon interests me I fall back on games like Fallout 3 and Golden sun, games I know will always be there for me no matter what the shiny new fps of the month is.

O.O What?! FREE?!

Meh, old games are usually pretty fun, in my experience...

I was as surprised as you are. Gametap has it as a free download.
