Do you ever have those times where you're just untouchable? I was playing Counter-Strike Source and I had one of those perfect games. 20 minutes, 16 rounds, not a single death. This was with bots, but it was eight a side, and it was just one of those times where I seemed to have perfect reflexes.
So, do you have these "in the zone" moments? When was the last time?

About a month ago in Metal Gear Online, I had two rounds in a row where I had about 15 or so kills and 0 deaths in each.

I quite often get this with racing games, i'll just be putting in amazing lap after lap without any errors. Where as sometimes i can't tell my steering wheel from my gear stick.

If i see anything appear in the sky, i'm shooting it down. I hate being repeatedly killed by jets and helicopters on that game. I managed to shoot down a supply helicopter today which made me laugh...

Whenever i play against bots i'm hyped an always ready i think its because the AI is easy to understand. UGH I wanna play KillZone with bots now fuck.

My most recent time was after playing three matches on battle field bad company 2 online. I was three matches in and got tired of getting killed by people on the other side of the map so i started to keep closer to walls, move faster, and check long distances in all of the sniper spots. I knew they would be looking over there so i go over here and end up knifing them in the face. Even tho i got about half the kills for my team i still couldn't stand playing it like that so yeah no more battlefield bad company 2 for me.

I was playing TF2 as an engineer in 2fort. Demo was laying bombs by my sentry, so I jumped down, landed a crit-wrench on him, then slaughtered a soldier with a crit-shotgun then finished off a cloaked spy with my wrench on my way back to my post. =w= That was a good day...

Borderlands.

Mordecai

72 shots, all head shots, all OHKO.

I fucking leroyed it. Bouncing around, jumping over enemies only to leave a lead bullet in their brains as I pass.

It was nice. It would've gone on longer, but I had ammo issues.

haha yeah on mw2 i ALWAYS had cold blooded on, to get rid of any kind of killstreak killing me (hopefully)

in cod4 i just zig zag from building to building to avoid any airstrike or heli kills

most other games i carry around a rocket launcher on my back for that purpose

im not the butthole who depends on killstreaks for his actual kills, i usually dont get them with any kind of airstrike or heli (possibly why i am biased against them)

I had:
-27 kill streak in Halo 3 (with an over kill and 3 double kills)
-14 kill streak with an 8 kill streak right afterwords in MW2 in one TDM using only UAV, counter UAV and Pred. missiles (missed on purpose to use as a ghetto smoke grenade, I saw I was being surounded so I dropped it on myself)

In DDR, you eventually catch a natural high when you're at exactly the right balance of being warmed up but not worn out, shot all full of beta endorphins from the physical activity and the dopamine from playing hard and well, and feeding the addiction. In this state, time slows to a crawl, and that 300 beat-per-minute wrecking machine slinks by like a lullaby, your body flowing around and around and back and forth across the pad, only tenuously in your conscious control and performing all the better because of it. And when you finally reach this Nirvana-like state, you can close your eyes and see arrows scrolling in the darkness, bright as day.

This is the state every DDR player lives for. God, I miss that feeling.

CounterStrike: Source

Surf_japan_ptad.
60 kills - 0 Deaths

And then the next round I decided to go knives only
30 kills - 1 death

And I do that on Tf2 too, like as sniper I might manage to shoot anything straight through the head if it moves for a whole round. But then the next round I can't hit anything :/

I usually top the tables in Tf2, but when you're thrashing the top player by 30 kills +, you start to think your brain has inbuilt hacks.

Tonight!

Just came first overall in 4 consecutive games of Bad Company 2.

It was awesome! Running in like a crazy lunatic blowing up M Comms, rocket rushing tanks... so much fun.

Most recently I had a 34 kill streak as a heavy on 2fort. I was doing hit and run attacks like a scout! Ended the game 54-6.

I often find I turn into some Hurculean God-man whenever I listen to Queen's Don't Stop Me Now. I've often gone 20-0 on CoD4 while listening to it and any unlucky streaks end when I put it on.

Today, actually, in Modern Warfare 2. The map was Afghan, and I was holed up in the big bunker the whole match (all I needed was a tent). I went 11-0 at the end, and I thought it was hilarious that I didn't run out of ammo. I'm not an awesome sniper, so I tend to fire more than one shot to hit someone.

A few weeks ago I was playing Underpass on MW2 and was just raping everyone on the other team. I was running around and either knifing or shooting but I kept lining up shots and appearing behind the enemy. Most of it was luck but damn that was fun. (Usually I suck at this game too, but I have my moments.)

woah do you know how many people still play it? I have it, loved it but the population was small and getting into matches took a bit of time.

OT: first round of Uncharted 2 in a couple of weeks I got a 14 kill streak. :)
