Iron Man 2.

Whiplash was sweet, and it was made pretty clear that the Starks owed their family in a big way, and Ivan even went out of his way to program the robots to attack only Iron Man, so he was pretty much a guy who wanted his cut and Stark came off looking like a greedy capitalist who didn't want to give credit.

Fuck Justin Hammer though, and his San Francisco Sicilian ice cream.

Die hard. They seemed to be on top of everything for almost the enitre movie, matching mclaine's moves but they screw up at the end.

I have to agree with you on Avatar. Mechs appeal to me far more than alien lizard dogs and 9 foot tall blue cat people.

The kid from the Cobra Kai Dojo in Karate Kid. I think his name was Johnny.

Sure, he was a bully. But he trained years just to get his ass kicked in the end by some kid with like, what...a couple of weeks of training in karate? Not cool, man.

Not cool.

Karate Kid, just because the bad guy in that had trained his entire life, and had the misfortune of having a bad instructor, then some jumped up little twerp from Jersey(?) rolls into town, thinking hes the bees knees, the cats pajamas, and after what, like a summer of training, beats him in a karate tournament while injured. What a dick.

Also, maybe Law Abiding Citizen, although I'm not entirely sure who was what in that film...

Edit: Goddammit, ninja'ed on Karate Kid.

Law abiding citizen. Instead of the usual snore inducing reflection of 'what if he was right' by the 'good' guys, we could have been left with the much more interesting question of 'well what the hell happens now?'

Plus, his method of laying the final bomb was so ridiculously, unbelievably obvious compared to the rest of his plans that it felt fake.

Hahaha. Johnny FTW. I agree, totally. I'll also include Karate Kid III in this. Terry is the best villain of all time (he's probably my next Halloween costume) and I love when he made Daniel's hands bleed.

I guess I find Daniel son to be a whiny, untalented ***** that deserves an ass thumping.
