Just as the title says, just what you think is the best company that produces games?

IMO i would say Blizzard. It's not that i think their games are better than other companies (though i really love the Diablo series), but there is a level of polish that blizzard gives their games that just really stands out for me.

Bungie and/or 343 Industries. They actually care for their fans. And their games are near if not perfect.

Their heavy handed DRM is a point against Blizzard, but I can understand why you would pick them.
Blizzard is a good pick for polish, quality control and long lasting support(patches).
Originality and pricing is highly subjective and the fans love the sequels so far, so not really relevant here.

I'll submit CD Project Red.
They oppose DRM and if you buy through their site you don't have any copyprotection or DRM to deal with. Now that's a basis of trust with your fans.

Patch support is good, maybe not as long and frequent as with Blizzard, but with a free total overhaul for TW1 and large additions like a tutorial level for TW2, support is well above average.
Only point against them is the games are rough in version 1. Nolonger an issue now, but maybe a downer for some early buyers back then.

Few days ago I might have said CD Projekt, but now they are extorting people they think are pirates, not really nice.

Bethesda is too law suit happy. Seriously almost every developer have their minus points these days.

Perhaps I say Atlus too, haven't heard anything horrible from them and Persona 4 and 3 are awesome.

CD Projekt or Bethesda.
Really, care for all platforms, less focused DRM and high quality/quantity of content sets quite an example for the cheapskates.
Valve - Gabe eating HL2E3 and too focused on DRM.
EA/Bioware - a continuing poor performance.
EA - lack lustre games and again, too focused on DRM.
Blizzard - being sellouts
Ubisoft - bunch of immature CEOs and way too focused on DRM.
Monjang - too new
Rockstar - Meh. they are not going to win my heart with MP3
Bungie/343 Industries - indifferent.
LionHead - their games are now fairly mediocre
Sony - neo-fascists
MS studios - see lionHead
THQ - just don't like their attitude and find most of their games bland
Nintendo - keeps on forgetting on what "innovation" means.
SqaureEnix - nearly the same problem with Nintendo.
Naughty Dog - too much in the comfort zone.
Volition - indifferent
Eidos - ok I guess.
Activision - have no core genre

Bethesda? Are you shitting me? The money-grubbing corporate bastards who were dumb (or smart, huh? Either way works for me...) enough to conform to a release date that nobody cared about, which effectively resulted in them releasing an unfinished product that everyone seems to adore? No thanks.

Valve I would agree with you there, but they're solidified in making innovations for the FPS genre, where they have next to no competition in the cerebral market. DotA 2 doesn't count because that's a remake that's doing everything that Riot didn't do properly in LoL.

Since this thread is entirely subjective, I'll say that Atlus is the best company out there right now, just because I love the SMT and Etrian Odyssey games. Persona 4 and Catherine anyone?

Capcom used to be my favorite, back in the SNES-to-PS2 era. Recently they've blown harder than a humpback whale in heat. So right now the only company that I have wholehearted respect towards is Grasshopper Manufacture. Suda51 specifically.

Obsidian personally. Apart from DS 3, they have never made a bad game, and are one of the last of the old guard of CRPGs.

I'm saying Naughty Dog. They create games of a consistently high caliber and they haven't made any dick moves that I'm aware of.

Based on what games i like it would have to be either Nintendo, Naughty Dog or BioWare, but i'm not sure how to pick which i'd call "the best".

The fact that Nintendo has embraced the casual crowd can be seen as both a plus and a minus really, but no matter what excuse they might come up with it doesn't get rid of the feeling that they've been growing a bit stagnant lately. I say that, but i haven't had the chance to play Skyward Sword yet...

I think i'll say i've convinced myself to go with Naughty Dog as i've ben writing because i don't have that history with Baldur's Gate, but Crash Bandicoot was very much present during my early years. I also thought the Jak & Daxter games were brilliant and now with Uncharted even more so. I guess in my head they win based on a winning streak with no actual missteps like BioWare with Dragon Age 2 aparently (though i haven't played that one).

Also i haven't heard of Naughty Dog's people acting disrespectfully towards their fanbase or other members of the industry, but i might just be bad at following news.
