Mind Heist is one of the greatest trailer songs ever composed and it actually really fits L.A. Noire nicely!

Minst Heist must have the biggest Trailer OST impact every my god, and I agree, that track is frigging amazing.
In this case it did fit okay-ish, wasn't blown away.

It's funny how every new trailer these days will also include those heavy Mind Heist-alike Basses.
I mean just look at Tron or the Transformers 3 trailer... fucking pathetic :x

Nice to see Zack Hemsey go unforgotten!

For everyone else, that song is actually Zack Hemsey's "Mind Heist", which he specifically produced for the third trailer for Inception. It was, unfortunately, not made available for download, but London Music Works later recorded their own version (which sounds almost indistinguishable from the original) and is available on Amazon mp3.

I know I sounded like a shill, but it's great piece of music.

I dunno, it was ok but really nothing special. Like others have said the music was way too over the top for some of the things that happened in it. Also the dialogue tells you crap-all about the story, so if it were a movie trailer, which it's emulating, it would be a failure.

It just goes to show that the Hanz Zimmer's Inception music put to anything makes it 100 times better. I honestly thought half those clips were crap but the music made it suspenseful.
As someone else noted, it's actually a music by Zack Hemsey, although Zimmer did amazing job with the Inception OST anyway (also, deja vu. I feel like I already wrote this in response to someone saying exactly the same thing... Huh. Must be a glitch in the Matrix).

You know, that second argument sounds funny, because that Inception trailer with Mind Heist not only told us next to nothing in terms of plot ("I think I found the way home..." etc. was the only plot related quote), but also mislead the viewers, first by suggesting that Cobb is responsible for subconscious security, and then the process of stealing secrets from a dream is called the Inception, when in fact it's exactly the other way around.

Trailers telling us nothing about the plot are nothing new, really, so I wouldn't even bother extracting points from it for that. Trailer should pick your interest, and whether it's done by revealing a tiny bit of an interesting plot, by whole lot of action/cool scenes, or by suspenseful music (go watch that Inception trailer. Actually it's not really that interesting visually, but still hyped me up to the stratosphere) - that's unimportant as long as it works.

OT: Great job. The guy mixed the trailer music from my favorite movie of the last decade with my most anticipated game of 2011. Hats off.

I'm subscribed to a guy on Youtube called TheMindheist who periodically releases trailers for different games synced to a song called, "Guess which one". None of his stuff are THIS good though.
Persuaded me to buy Medal of Honor. And I don't even regret it. :)

It sucks that I can't play LA Noire when it drops (PC gamer) :(

I can't wait for L.A. Noire but there is one thing that bugs me

Why do the hats look like they all came from a goddamn barbie doll collection, they are all so stupidly stiff and dont look like they fit their head models in game properly!
