Its the first movie thats made me want to go to the theater since Zombieland. Unfortunately, I have no money. I was just going to rent it but all the freaking rental places are shutting down.

It's absolutely brilliant. One of the most intelligent (not to mention awesome)movies I've seen in a long time. 10, easily.

I thought it was very good; the only criticism I have is that I was disappointed that there weren't more trippy, Escher-esque visuals. It only happened once or twice, when the advertising made it seem like there'd be a lot more.

I thought it was great. Like Moviebob says there is a feeling that it would be too smart for people. it isn't you just need to pay attention to whats going on. In a dark room with a giant screen if you're not paying attention then you have no excuse.

It was a clever film with great visuals, particularly in the Paris scene and the Hotel. I would have liked to see more of the flexibility and dream physics in the snow and city levels, but that's a tiny gripe and the hotel scene has more than its fair share. Well acted, directed, written, and shot. Go see this film.

Oh and who here thought of Shadow Moses when they saw the snow fortress?

Christopher Nolan has always been a risk for me.

I loved... No. Absolutely adored The Prestige, and The Dark Knight.

However, I hated Memento and Insomnia with a passion.

Batman Begins is kind of meh for me. I enjoyed it, but it was nothing spectacular.

So, I do really wanna see Inception, but I've being hesitant about it. I have a feeling I'll come out having enjoyed it, but saying to myself, "The Cell did it better."

I saw it and loved it, but there was one point where this was all I could think about:

Specifically, the moment where Fischer is talking about how his father said he was disappointed...

I've just come back from seeing it, and it was fucking awesome, I agree.

All the people I went with liked it too, usually a good sign.

Glad someone brought up The Cell, the main difference between the two movies (for me) was that while The Cell really relied on the trippy dream visuals as a crutch, with just one cool idea backing the movie (don't get me wrong, I really dug The Cell), Inception takes the central idea of dream-jumping, and runs with it to pretty much every logical end. It fully explores this universe where this technology exists, even in it's tertiary aspects. It doesn't really feel the need to rely on trippy visuals.

In the end, despite the initial premise, they're both pretty different films. And I really can't get enough films about dreams anyhow!
