recently i found a cool little title called 'scrap metal heroes' [link below]. the game is a simple RTS in which you spawn robots in one of 4 lanes and try to get them to the enemies side of the screen. you start off with a small amount of 'scrap' (used to build robots) and when you kill enemies or get to the other side you get more scrap.
the twist is that there are RPG elements, you have to upgrade your robots using money you win ingame. obviously the more powerful a robot is the more scrap it costs to make in game. the tactics can be quite deep, even changing the speed of your robots can influence the game and you need to have 4 robots that compliment each others weaknesses
