Inexpensive Gaming Speaker Help

I have a Xbox 360 Elite with all the goodies that comes with it and a Playstation 3 with a HDMI cable and a small 720p HDtv (away from my house and don't remember the model. I'll edit when I get home). Thing I have been wanting is an inexpensive speakers that will improve the audio experience. I am looking for something similar to computer speakers with bass (not the fish).

Any advice where and what to look for?

I just bought the logitech LS21 set, only cost about £15 and its two speakers and a sub. Not had a chance to check the with consoles yet, and you might need an adapter or two, but they've been awesome for PC gaming.
