Am I the only one who thinks Cole looks like a douchebag on the Game Informer cover?

For some reason hair makes him look really stupid.
I think its the beard. Or the hair. Hell I dont know but he doesnt look at all like Cole to me. I miss the hairless bastard with the thick black veins running up the side of his neck =\

Huzzah! One of the few games i played multiple times is getting a sequel!

Final Fuckingly.

To the couple people insulting the way he looks, its a tiny picture on the front of a magazine. I'm glad they are moving away from the terror triplets look...

For the Record...

Nathan Hale
Cole Magrath
Starkiller.

God damn triplets man.

I want to see choosing to be good rewarded with the best powers.

Reason? It's harder to be good.
Aside from arc lightning, chosing to be good did reward you with the best powers. By far. The only thing evil ever gave you was explosions. Does it not explode? Now it does! Does it explode? Now it explodes more!

the good powers wernt necessaryly "Better" powers, just more precise. though i aggree that the evil powers were just bluetacking explosions onto everything... not that that was a bad thing >:)

Fuck yeah!!

So glad they officially announced this.
Ninja'd again. Seriously, I haven't beaten the game yet but I'm having tremendous fun playing it. The one thing I want improved is that they fix all those damn bugs and glitches >:-(
Ok fixed it

I would like to see the draw distance improved. Have you seen the distant train tracks when looking into the distance while riding a train?

Maybe it was because when I played Evil I had it on hard, but I have to say, not counting Arc Lightning, evil was worse in every way.

The cinemas only sort of made sense for the character. The story as a whole was much worse. The areas that you claimed didn't get better but they didn't get worse either, so you were completely unaware that you could have an effect on the world. The powers were definitely worse.

A rocket launcher that explodes more is not as good as a homing rocket. Grenades that explode more is not as good as grenades that auto-disable your enemies. Force push that blows up cars is not as good as force push that has bad guys floating helplessly for fifteen seconds at a time. A pistol that recharges your good powers is infinitely better than a pistol that has a chance to make a headshot explode, especially with how spread out bad guys usually were.

Despite the name of the game, they clearly put more effort into the good side, and that's obviously the way they wanted you to go.

Wait... I just remembered that if you were super evil you got black and red lightning at the end. So that's good too.

lol, I was reading a IGN article about that they think about the cover and the last thing they mentioned was, Is Cole a douche?
Well that's what IGN are famed for Bias reviews and stupid articles.

It would be cool if inFamous had a bigger emphasis on parkour: sorta like a Mirror's Edge Superhero Video Game. That would be awesome. And I agree with Ickorus, although it did suck if you were evil because no one helped you out.
Yeah, and if the RPG element was more developed.

I wanted to make my starting blasts able to OHK people, but I never could do it...

Sweet. I just hope that

a) They clean up the combat because after a while it was just boring and having my arse repeatedly kicked by guys in fucking hoodies no less doesn't make me feel like a super hero it makes me feel like a ***** (and I was actually good at this game... shut up I was)

b) Make the travel more fun. Sure it was fun at first, I mean climbing up a building then jumping on telephone lines and grinding on to them only to jump off at the end and glide onto land on a train was awesome, but still somehow got boring after a while.

c) Introduce fast travel. I don't care how fun the normal travel is there still needs to be fast travel beacause the method of transportation might be so good you would think you just slept with Angie Cole AKA sexy hair over face lady from a good knights quest *plug* (god I hope she isn't reading this) you will still get bored after a while. Just make the travel so fun the player wouldn't want to fast travel until the very end. Shit I even thought of a way that it makes sense: Cole uses his electricity to travel through anything in the city that uses electricity. He would become the electricity and travel through anything electrical.

And make the good options reveal some actual good powers. I'm sure you get all the good powers anyway even if you are evil. And make being evil actually still have a good plot because the story is great if you are good but it sucks if you are evil.

I like your Idea of being able to sort of turn into electricity and transport somewhere around the game world, but it would just be to realistic

and if you remember
The final boss is you. And he was a bad-ass. So hopefully we can expect some of his powers. Well all of them, but some might make the game unbalanced (I think he could teleport)

I had a blast playing inFAMOUS so the sequel should be great. I'd like to see a more Alex Mercer style of transportation, climbing things gets very tedious after a while.

But to be far, it's only a concept, and it's early days yet so it could easily change - but the game is set a long time in the future if I can remember rightly

I feel like whipping in my inFamous for a spin :D And did you know you can download the giga watt blades now for free? In case you don't know, they were a pre order bonus and they're basically 2 long, electrical blades that go down your wrists, making CQC kills all the more glorious

As I said elsewhere, I regard this to be absolutely atrocious. A sequel to a game in a genre which is almost as derivative as Second World War FPSes? I thought that [PROTOTYPE] or Bayonetta would be shoo-ins for the title of "Most Harmful Decision In The World Of Gaming Since The 1983 Crash", but it seems we have a new competitor.
I am with you on bayonetta but what have you got against prototype? For me games are about doing things you can't do in the real world or you could but it's against the law/you don't have the skills.

Prototype is kind of the pinnacle of that, a guy that can turn his arms into anything except a toaster, run up walls, throw cars like bricks, launch spikes out of the floor or send tentacles out to consume everybody around you and soar like seagull. It has it's problems but what game doesn't?

Like he can turn into anybody yet he decides to constantly walk around with his hood trying to be dark and broody.

As far as I know, besides infamous, there is no game like prototype.

On topic. I never played the first one 'cos it looked pants, one of his attacks looks like he is doing a special electrical wave/fist pump move.

Compared to prototype, the movement was like comparing a horse to a Veyron and it was a little too close to AC, if I wanted a different game from AC, playing the exact same game with super powers wasn't the way to go.
