For [PROTOTYPE] [2] I'm hoping maybe... Just tiny bit better graphics (but not at the cost of the huge action sequences of humans and infected duking it out) maybe more answers on some of the big players that weren't introduced in the first but where whispered about...

That'd be very good but I think if they went to the trouble of making a system for you to bring in your old character it wouldn't just be for some subtle reason that doesn't really change anything. I haven't looked into the story of inFamous 2 cause I'm really trying to avoid spoilers so I have no idea what Sasha's plan is so I can't comment on that though, perhaps there's some way they could make it work if it revolves around the choices you made with the Reapers. I think it'd make more sense that if you destroyed the tar and gave yourself a heavy dose of it Sasha's advances would have much more effect on you though if anything.
Hmmm, makes sense with the tar. Perhaps, and this is just an idea here, they will sorta do what metal gear solid 3 did, and ask you a couple of questions of your last play through. Sure, it would be a little messy, but I would love to see my good or bad character have an effect on this game. And yeah, the tar makes sense. :D

Oh sorry, I want "Generic A-hole"'s powers to be equally badass. At the end of the game, I only used the chain whip. That is really the only power improvements I can think of.
Yahtzee said the same but I really don't see where you two are coming from. Then again, in my playthrough, he also never said anything outside the cutscenes. Seeing as I was playing it on a PC, perhaps you guys had the console versions and they're different? But anyway, aside from "grapple onto a chopper" for immortality (that was granted overpowered cause you were invincible in the chopper and could just jump into another one), I NEVER used the extendo-tentacle for anything other than that.

The blade can one-shot crush tanks with a single spin-strike and is pretty powerful as a general melee weapon if you're going face to face. The Hammerfists were so so but the charge-fistfirst-jump thing and the elbow drop with it hurt like hell. The extra arm power for throwing is extremely powerful once you get to be able to run and throw and the same time as you can constantly dodge ANYTHING and hurl objects at whatever's attacking you at the same time. I didn't care much for the claws myself, but it was useful for attacking on the move or as a ranged power with the impale.

But anyway, OT (about Prototype only as I haven't played Infamous and don't intend to as I don't have a console): I agree with one of the above posters, some extra stealth powers would be fantastic and add a whole new dimension to the game. He's supposed to be a, to quote, "security nightmare", but when you've got 5 detectors covering 95% of every base area with extra UAV detectors flying around, it just gets tedious to disarm every one of them.

Also, personally, I found the Armor power to be quite useless... it limits too much and gives too little whereas it's seemingly supposed to be a "true form" of the protagonist. Would like to see it reworked into a cooldown-based power up or something like that.

I can't see a second Prototype going over well. The most enjoyable thing about the game was the over-the-top total destructive mayhem you can unleash. The story was awful, the characters were awful, the side-missions were repetitive. One game was fun. I don't see people feeling compelled to play the game because they need more of the story and characters. And I don't see them changing the gameplay enough to make the mayhem feel fresh enough for a new game.

least they had the decency to give the ending enough closure to not really need another

but, as for inFAMOUS 2 only complant i had was the hipster look -.-, no, Cole + hair is one thing, dood can has hair, but it looked nothing like Cole, like, at all, like they knocked 10 years off his age >.> not cool

powers wise, flight would be nice, a few more 'Grey' choices, and maybe a better sniper power and for both sides

I don't think cole will ever get flight and i don't want him to, it would undermine all his maneuverability. You let him fly freely and you are playing a different game. They have worked on the climbing and improved static glide so it should be awesome. Also the comic cut scenes are returning :).

Nah, flight would make the climbing (a big part of the game) pointless and would break the travel, even as an optional upgrade. And I really liked the comic cut scenes.

To be fair, can you blame him for looking gaunt in the first game? Being penned in, relying solely on government food drops to eat and being regarded as a monster by your own city? I think that'd knock a few years off your look. By the end of the game, Cole had accepted his role as either the saviour or the ruler of the city, I suspect that that would take a load off of his mind. Now he isn't being pulled here and there by the government and is probably a lot more calm and relaxed with himself and his powers. I'm one of the few that liked Cole's new look.

I can see how some people liked his new look, it just seemed like they were copying nathan drake. I mean the character they are showing now does need work, but all the tattoos and the weird hair along with the voice change was a bit much.

I don't think I need many more powers/attacks etc in Prototype 2. I liked the first one, I just want more polish on the graphical side, a little tweaking of the gameplay and I'll buy it.
(Oh, and perhaps a better story, but the free-roaming mayhem more than made up for that.)

Umm, Prototype 2 is unlikely to happen, I'm afraid. I think half of Radical was fired thanks to Activision, so a sequel is doubtful.

Both first games were great, though, and I'd love to play the sequels.

For Prototype 2, if it happens, have a better story and change the colour palette, dammit.

For Infamous 2, the moral choice system. Fix it or throw it away.

^disregard these guys' remark, this thread is meant for people to say what they WANT to see in a sequel, not for people to troll on inFamous or Prototype

OT: well, i actually have a list of things i posted before on another thread, here they are:
-Give me the ability to eat while on the run (to avoid those things I mentioned earlier about web of intrigue targets dying randomly)
-Give me the ability to use my claws and sword while sprinting without sacrificing movement (like a running stiff-arm or something)
-Give me the ability to use my razor-whip to whip my way onto buildings like Spiderman or Bionic Commando.
-Give me some more cheats (cool and interesting ones, even invincibility would be a nice change of pace)
-Have a different location, something more colorful and lively, like Las Vegas (Prototype in vegas could be fun, no?)
-Consolidate the moves so that we don't have to do awkward button combination to pull them off (like x+b)
-use a better engine that can make the damage look better/more gratuitous and allow us to destroy more buildings (just a suggestion)
-have more varied minigames/sidemissions (i didnt discuss these before, but its because you dont HAVE to do them, nor do they really add or subtract anything from the game if you ignore them)
-More DLC support, maybe we could get more cool powers or costumes and stuff, you know?

EDIT: Since i never played infamous, but i KNOW its good, i just hope the sequel takes place in a bigger city and you get more ways to get around the city than climbing and rail-sliding
I agree with everything but the DLC support, I hate buying a game then finding out I have to pay another £3-£4 just to look a little different or even worse get a new move. I already paid for the game once, stop taking my money!

On topic. I never liked infamous so I am not in the least bit interested in a second helping.

Prototype, was awesome to me. Things didn't take that long, the side mission things were a pain the ass to do and it was totally over the top.

Flying helicopters after grabbing them and hiking up, driving tanks after ripping the lid off and killing the driver, firing a nade launcher, changing appearance, just awesome.

The guy you play as was a dick, take the hood off and speak normally! When the building collapsed, after destroying the hive inside, it looked a little crap but other than that I loved it.

Better animations and better AI wouldn't hurt, make the main guy less of a douche and get rid of that weird thing, were you look down a street and it's crammed full with people and mutants, you get half way down the street and it's nearly empty!

Oh, and get rid of crazy annoying bosses, lastly make the controls and the camera best of friends ... that was the root cause of most of my deaths and failures.

For Prototype 2 (assuming Prototype 2 is to be released.....sometime.) I want new powers, weapons, vehicles and a better story.
In the first game we could only use Tanks and Helicopters, but why not use Jets or other military vehicles. I'd also like to be able to use weapons while in movement (I.E holding your sword-arm infront of you while you sprint so you bisect anyone you run into). While we're at it I could also go for a better story and a better purpose to do side-missions beside EP grinding.

while i can accepte a younger looking Cole, since, you have a good point about him being stressed, it just didn't mesh well with me, i heard they changed his look, hopefully a combo of what they had and the good points of the redesign, and it did have some despite my disliking it

I have no hopes for a second Prototype. I couldn't wait for that game after reading the GameInformer feature, but it was (mostly) disappointing. One of the few reasons it sold well is because it was released during summer drought. The need a more relatable protagonist and better A.I. and a whole lot more for me to be interested in it.
This AND nobody said jack about a sequel... Bad reviews+average sales=Going back to the drawing board(not likely at best).
I hope infamous goes to the 360 though(aslo not likely).

Bad reviews? GameRankings gave the PS3 version the lowest at 79.56% and Metacritic 79%. Average - good reviews plus modest sales (it topped the STEAM sales that week and managed apparently over 419,900 copies).

I'd say it warranted a sequel, as much as inFamous did.

They did not bother to port infamous 2 to the 360, so most likely I'll be getting protype 2. If there is a prototype 2.
