Infamous 2?

I just watched the new trailer from E3 expecting to see how the story from last game is going to develop, since they kinda hinted at what's coming. However to my surprise it doesn't seem to be about the same guy, if it is Cole from the first game he's grown hair, got some tatoo's and changed his voice. plus he apparently now he is going to have ice powers as well, that doesn't even make sense.

I've got a feeling that I'm going to be disappointed if I buy it.

Just wait for the reviews of it. Anyway, the game was just recently announced, so there's still a while before it releases. The changes will probably make sense by then.

I love Nathan Drake who i feel they are trying to Imitate but no, It does not suit Cole's character, his voice pisses me off (Unlike Drakes) and i though he was damn sexy bald!, Why is there a Raccoon on his head?

I'm going to wait it out before I pass judgement. The story and character changes I'm not sold on, but as long as the gameplay stays the same/gets even better I'll be a happy gamer.

I'm still puzzled by the new voice, Since at the end of last year the man who voiced Cole was already recording for Infamous 2...

I don't mind the new look, I just loathe the voice and am completely lost on the Ice Powers.

I like the new voice, in inFamous he sounded like he smoked about 200 cigies a day.

Okay I am with the majority of the people when I say I am not sold on the story, I was pleasantly surprised with the story of the first one but such a severe character change does scare me, I heard they maybe contemplating changing that cole you saw in the trailer into something else so yeah. On the topic of the ice powers well i believe it is a super hero game in its core and perhaps you may get bored with electricity but i surely didn't in the first all three play throughs worth.

I was kind of hoping this would be a new reality for InFamous. But, if the free roams like the first one and if the combat has improved as much as they said it would, then I'd get it.

I really did not mind Cole's look or voice in the first game. Sure, it was a wee bit gravely, but I think it suited him quite nicely.

Regarding the look, what I really liked about the first one was that it was fairly "neutral", as in it did not reveal whether the character was going to be good or bad (which was quite nice given the premise of the game). I'm having a very hard time seeing this new Cole as potentially evil, however they might still be able to pull that off, so I won't judge them too harshly on that.

Even though I'm not entirely sold on Cole's redesign, I'm really looking forward to this game. I really loved the first InFamous and so far I don't see anything about the sequel that could be a potential game breaker for me.

Granted, however if kesler was him and he was bald, your saying he went from being bald in his 30's grew a full head of hair and lost it all.

To be completely honest, I couldn't give two shits about the voice. He sounded annoying in inFamous, but I got over it and loved the game. If he sounds annoying in inFamous 2, the same will happen.

As for ice powers, Kessler was able to time travel. If Kessler could eventually train himself to TIME TRAVEL, then I don't think it's too far off that Cole will be able to develop ice powers. I'm sure Sucker Punch won't be like "oh... he got ice... so yeah", they'll explain it.

I'm just really disappointed by his character design.

Why did they make him the generic douchebag protagonist? He looks like Nathan Drake now!

Plus, why the hell does Zeke look so much older in this one while Cole looks considerably younger?

Times change. He had only aquired his powers in the first game, and was still 'working' as a packages delivery boy at the time. He has to change clothes sometime. Also, he probably just wanted to grow his hair out. Its not like they gave him a mullet. The voice is a little off, but i dont think its all that bad - granted, i liked the first voice better, but this one will grow on me. Its the writing i'd be more concerned about.

Also, i dont think Cole will get ice powers. I think somebody else will get ice powers. Ice totally sucks as a conductor of electricity, ergo, this will be Cole's Nemesis, seeing as he

I'm a huge fan of the first game, so I'm very, very skeptical about the voice/appearance change. I didn't find the original VA annoying at all, in fact I thought it fit his beaten-down characterization, so the drastic change seems pretty damn absurd. I hope they change it, or at least implement it in a reasonable way.

If they do stay with this one... then I guess the trauma finally got to poor Cole and he changed himself so drastically to avoid himself.

Cole is a broken man, he has nothing left and his voice suited him well. Now we get this boy band wannabe with hair and a new voice?

Apparently this voice is what they viewed Cole to have to begin with. I say apparently, because it seems awfully convenient... but I don't know for sure. That's just what they said.
