Predator, Robocop and Total Recall for the NES: Not really that bad: Kind of fun action games, and had some cool parts like the weird big mode stages. Fuck Rambo for the NES, though: That is one of the worst games ever.
Back to the Future: Kind of a fun Paperboy clone--the minigames are tedious, but the meat of the game is ennjoyable.
Clu Clu Land: It seems the few guys who remember this one all hate it, but it is one of my favorites. I played all 32 levels and never got bored.
Street Fighter: Yes, the first game: It is quirky and flawed, I admit that, but it is kind of fun and charming, and the inspiration for a great, albeit overstretched series.
Pit Fighter: Fun fighting game, silly but entertaining.
Primal Rage: This is one of my favorite fighting games: It is as over-the-top as Mortal Kombat but has better fighting and controls and dinosaurs. I want a new version in the style of the Mortal Kombat remake.
Mean Streets: Seems to have become the black sheep of the series due to its flaws and the lack of any kind of notes. I still love it despite the problems, just like every Tex Murphy game.
Doki Doki Amusement Park: I am basing this on the hatred for the Americanized version, Trolls in Crazyland--I have not played that port, but the original is an awesome game with a lot of action and creativity.
Modernized Bionic Commando: I will admit that the combat system is slow and awkward, but you still get to swing on a grappling hook and use it to destroy robots, which is good enough for me.
Necrovision: Almost every critic hated this game, but it really was a fast-paced and fun tribute to Doom-style games and a nice change from Call of Duty clones.
Goldeneye: Popular at the time, but everyone seems to be souring on this game these days. I still love it, it an awesome game with lots of action and cool bond gadgets. Even the remake was really fun, and there was a great scene in the new version where Bond got hit by helicopter, fell off a cliff and lived, which was great.
Sierra, Steve Meretsky and Legend games: Another case in which popular opinion has turned against games, as everyone complains about the deaths and dead ends. I admit that all the situations where you can make the games impossible to finish are annoying, but finding hilarious deaths is half the fun of adventures. These games are still classics and they should be respected.
